Does it still hurt watching this team lose?

How are we one step closer?  Tampa lost and NY hasn't played yet.  If we were picking today we would have the 3rd overall pick.

Hey, when do the Jags play today?

Yes. The uniforms still make me sick and the helmets remain awful. Didn't get to watch today. Orlando station isn't contacted to carry home games.

Just like misbehaving children, I still love them. Even if they dress poorly.

I'm not a teal guy by an stretch of the imagination. But, the unis they wore today looked good. But I also perceived them to be more blue than teal.

How are we not? It was a loss.

As of now two teams are considered worse than us. What's there to not understand?

Yeah as of now, but the Bucs have played one less game and have looked more competitive than us in all their games. The Bucs and the Giants also play each other, so we are still the favorites no matter what the standings right now look like.

No they don't face each other.

TB should be able to win one somewhere though.  Maybe two.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

It's just hard for me to believe they are as bad as they are.  It's unreal, I can't believe this is a "professional" football team.  It's hard to watch.  If they would just play some good football I wouldn't mind.  But watching them just, just, I don't even know what you call that, it's hard to watch.

Our pitiful offense and Rivers milking the clock put me to sleep

Quote:Actually we got some positive things going on. Sure Henne is getting his throws swatted way too much and can't get it done at the Goal line (don't know why we don't use MJD more down there), but we obviously have talented receivers. I mean when the third receiver gets over 100 yards in a game, wow. I don't remember the last time we had three different wide outs hit 100+ yards in a single season in a single game (i.e. not at the same time, just in the same season).

Caldwell can actually find diamonds in the rough, which 'small school' Gene always claimed he was being smarter but apparently never had the ability to back it up like Caldwell (who makes no claims, but actually does it). Things are looking up. Instead of complaining about fans and losing, we should be seeing the obvious difference there is in the organization.

That all sounded fine and mighty, but Gene Smith acquired Mike Brown, not Caldwell.

Of course it still hurts to watch the Jaguars lose. If that did not make me mad, I would not be a Jaguars fan, because Jaguars fans want their favorite team to win, no matter what. I hated the Suck for Luck crap two years ago and I hate the Tank for Teddy crap now because those people are fake Jaguars fans. Why should fans of any NFL team think we must choose between present and future success instead of want both? That will never make any sense to me.

The truth is what we really want is all of the other horrible teams winning so we get the top pick without trying to lose. For example, we will all be Giants fans tomorrow night because they have not won a game yet either. That is why I started a Worst Teams Tracker thread. You don't want to see the Jaguars try to lose. You want to see them win games. Why? Because you call yourselves Jaguars fans. How hard is that to understand?

True he had him on the practice squad. But Caldwell/Mularky has him in the game.

Quote:I am just so glad to hear from the announcers today that Gus Bradley still lights up a room when walks in. Because that's what is important.

Yeah, the team clearly responds to his positivity and leadership.  Not to mention the positive motivation.

Don't you kinda wish we actually did suck for Luck tho? I mean our QB would be set for the next 12 years

Yes it is hard to watch the team lose by double digets every week, yet I still care ,and want to see the team win.   So it does hurt to watch them lose, and it hurts so much because I care.  If one didn't care any more it probbley  wouldn't hurt as bad. I am standing by the jags, and we will be at the  sports bar next week watch them play.
