Jags Will Get Their First Win This Weekend Vs San Diego

#61

I here what you are saying. And while would love Teddy. Is it Stafford or CJ that makes Detroit look better? Blackmon will get open regardless of QB.

Blackmon will get open regardless of QB, but you still have the fact that he didn't get a single touchdown for all those yards he got yesterday. Against a team that had 11 previous passing TD's against them.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Quote:Classic let down game for the Chargers. Big Monday night football win for them at home, and then they travel cross country to play east-coast lackluster team at 1pm.

The Jags were never as bad as the hyperbole of the first 4 weeks was saying, as I pointed out then - 3 of the 4 losses the Jags sustained, and all the blowout losses were to teams that are/ will be SB contending teams.

PLus they didn't have their best player in Blackmon.

In the last 2 games, the Jags have played better football, and I'm not surprised.

This week the Jags will beat the Chargers, and probably really hurt their chances at getting Teddy Bridgewater in the process, but hey.....at least we'll have a meaningless win (considering the bigger picture), probably the first of at least 3 or 4 this season.

Duh...Also 2 + 2 = 4 and 3 +3 = 6.

Ok, if its so obvious, then why don't some posters get it?

I'm not confident enough to call it a definite win, but the Jaguars certainly can win this game. It wouldn't shock me.

Quote:The Jags will not beat the Chargers.  Notably, the Chargers have the superior lines and QB.  I don't see a blow out like I would have imagined a couple weeks ago, as the Jags are looking better than the horrendous first games.  Chargers 27, Jags 17

The Charger's lines and QB were superior, and they were victorious.  However, I underestimated just how inept the Jag's offense can be.

Quote:A buddy of mine is a Chargers fan, and he said he was kinda scared about this game. I don't really agree with him. I think Rivers is gonna have a field day on us. Yeah, I know we just held the great Peyton Manning to a sub-par performance by his standards, but lets be honest. The Broncos still scored 35 points with the turnovers they had, and they still played pretty damn sloppy all game.

I don't know, I'm not buying into any of the "hype" from the last game. If Poz doesn't take that INT back, we would be looking at a 13-35 or possibly worse loss 'cause the Broncos were kinda driving the ball downfield.

Yeah, we took some strides I guess you could say offensively, but the Broncos have been giving up huge numbers all year, so it isn't anything to hang your hat on.

Just my opinion of course.

I'm guessing Dr. Diva won't be bringing this thread up down the road in his endless quest for validation.

The Jags will have to win the turnover battle and reduce the mistakes to have a chance at a win - but I still think that Rivers is able to move the ball against the Jags a little too well for our guys to come out on top.

I thought it would be closer, and I thought they'd eliminate some mistakes instead of making more of them - but I guess I got the rest right.  Sure would love to have been wrong on this one.  That was really hard to watch.

This thread is idiotic
