He really is.

24 points in 2:54. And a similar situation happened against the Colts last week giving up 24 points in one quarter.

2 weeks in a row.

And someone has the nerve to call them a well coached team? Could you imagine the venom spewing if this would've happened to a Gus coached Jaguars?

A 3-4 record in your rookie year, especially considering the team went 2-14 is defense-worthy.

Defending a 5-18 head coach, who owns the leagues worst point differential now 2 years running, makes less sense.

What makes even less sense was this post...especially the 2nd part because I didn't do that.

But keep making things up.

There is the difference between you and a Jags fan. Fans defend their team, not their division rivals. Especially on something as lame as the weak minded O'briens mental collapse on air.

maybe it has something to with case keenum not playing qb anymore?

probably has nothing to do with guys on the field actually playing the game, especially the most important position on the field....

I acknowledged they were good coaches. They also were coaches that wouldn't just take losing passively. They each had their moments in pressers where they erupted. Marshmallows like Wade Phillips and Gus Bradley just trot out the same ol "well we gonna try harder next week...."....

Correlation between the Wade Phillips/ Bradley/ Del Rio type of head coach and a cap on the ceiling success.

Anomaly's like Carroll & Dungy prove nothing but that they are the anomaly.

Texans suck.  We whooped em twice last year and we'll do the same this year!

Go Jags!

I think TMD has jumped the shark. none of his dumb statements even have a leg to stand on anymore, before he used to be able to at least waffle and BS and at least put up a good argument.

now he has nothing and almost every poster on the board is just embarrassing him.

might be time for a new routine or to take your act over to the texans board, tmd.

again, as I said to Jagwired, if thats the case then why do you spend SO much time in my threads like this one? I know I don't spend much if any time in threads started by people that I think have no idea what they are talking about.

You are saying one thing and doing another.

I'm sure you'll respond again with some grade school level ad-lib

The Texans QB situation is O Briens fault.

maybe it does, but you cant quantify or prove his effect, so to say him taking a 2 win team and turning them into whats right now, a 3 win team, doesnt mean anything.

fitz is a huge upgrade from keenum.

the roster is very good overall. anything less than playoffs would be a disappointment.

he got handed the keys to a team that just needed a qb (which you said the texans and bill wouldnt screw up and would take teddy)

BUT! they didnt, the wonder guru B.O.B has fitz and he looks exactly like hes always looked.....

and yet, they still sit at 3-4....not bad for a rookie head coach.

i enjoy proving you wrong and making your arguments look idiotic.

i enjoy posting things that you cant even come up with a reply to so you leave the thread and just go troll on another one.

i enjoy watching other postings make you look idiotic as well.

all proving your actual knowledge for football is very limited.

They were also coaches that had lots of talent around them.

Intolerance of losing and throwing tantrums did not preclude Jimmy Johnson from going 1-15, or losing his last game 62-7 when he didn't have the talent of the Cowboys teams he built.

Intolerance of losing and melting down in press conferences did not stop Ditka from struggling with the Saints when he didn't have the talent of the 85 Bears.

Denny Green's "They are who we thought they were" rant did not propel the Cards into the playoffs on a regular basis at all when he didn't have the Vikings' talent.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
