Bill O Brien's post-game presser keeps it REAL after a loss, compared to Gus Badly's "positive" [BAD ...

Quote:Don't think so.You mean the guy with worse trade value than Blaine Gabbert? Lol O Brien is basically your Mallet of head coaches no matter where he goes and how he does...he's always going to be a change of scenery away from greatness We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:They were also coaches that had lots of talent around them. Jimmy Johnson by his second season was much more impressive as a head coach than Gus Badly. Ditka was also older and tired by the time he got with the Saints. Clearly didn't have the zest for the job that he had with the Bears. Was probably more of a cash grab.
Quote:You mean the guy with worse trade value than Blaine Gabbert? O Brien has already proven himself somewhat as a head coach at the college level. I doubt many other coaches would have been able to have winning records under the adversity/ distractions that Penn State team had to deal with during O Briens time there. I know I don't spend much if any time in threads started by people that I think have no idea what they are talking about. Why do you think freak shows exist? Why do you think people can't help but to stare at car accidents. people love a freak show. You are our message board freak show. You are the comedic entertainment. You are the butt of the joke. TMD falls in love with coaches like Gene Smith falls in love with crappy college prospects. He sticks by them no matter what, and anything that adds to his argument he promotes. Anything that detracts from it he ignores or goes against.
If O'Brien were here last year, and did the same as Gus... and O'Brien were still doing the same as Gus right now, we'd be hearing about how the team lacks talent. But because we hired his 6th choice (just out of the Top 5, mind you. So obviously a stretch. He probably only put Bradley on his list because the Eagles did, much like he'll wait until coaching candidates are announced to make his next list and then just go by what's popular). Of course he'll argue the impossible. That we'd be doing better with O'Brien right now. (No evidence of this, and him taking the Texans to 3-4 is not proof) TMD can be smart, but he can also be stubborn as ol' Gene Smith when deciding to take Tyson Alualu or a punter in the third round. Nobody's going to convince him otherwise.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:Do you like making stuff up? Its not making anything up. Its called having one's own opinion. And what I said is absolutely realistic given Ditka's age at that point and the fact that he never did go back to coaching after that. He was ready to retire from head coach life anyway. Its what I initially asserted. You know there is truth to my opinions regarding this team and you don't like it so you spend much time in my posts trying to discredit me. Most of the time you don't even bother with the post content and just attack the poster. Its a common internet argumentative tact. You aren't doing anything groundbreaking. Quote:roycee is embarrassing you No, he isn't. But if it makes you and him feel better. You go on right ahead thinking it.

You believe O'brien is a " bad [BLEEP] " because he almost cried at his presser and I believe he looked like a complete moron. Yeah, deep topic. Like I said, comedic value.

As he should have learned by now through life experience, anger and throwing childish temper tantrums don't solve problems. In fact, they reveal poor leadership skills and low emotional IQ/EQ.

All of the tirades and tantrums in the world thrown by those coaches in front of the media did not do a bit of tangible good until they had talent around them. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
