Bill O Brien's post-game presser keeps it REAL after a loss, compared to Gus Badly's "positive" [BAD ...

Young man? Lol.....

Quote:The guy wet his pants at the podium. Freaked on one of the media peeps. Seems unstable.Winner. I wasn't aware that Gus Bradley needed some Darth Vader "unleash your anger" lessons. Sorry if it was already pointed out, couldn't go through 20 pages. Quote:Winner.Agreed. I mentioned it in another thread. (imagine that - the banned one was harping the same broken record in multiple threads) I thought O'Brien seemed on the verge of tears. Seemed more like lack of composure than anything. Quote:You didn't know that, as a coach, that's the key to winning football games?!? Weird. Whatever the "key to winning " football games might be, I sure hope the Jags find it and use it to punish as many opponents as possible.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:Winner. Quote:Agreed. I mentioned it in another thread. (imagine that - the banned one was harping the same broken record in multiple threads) Imagine someone you work with (or worse yet, work for) reacting like that when things don't go their way. Just what you want right? If it wasn't so awkward it would be downright comical. His answers were completely silly also. Side note: you all caught that that was Tania Ganguli he freaked out on right? Quote: ive had that happen and you really lose faith in your coworkers or supervisors to handle pressure in situations like that. it makes them look fragile and like the job is too big for them.

At one time the Colts had Jim Mora who gave press conferences similar to Bill O'Brien. The Colts lost. The Colts then brought in Tony Dungy who was far more stoic, calm and intellectual. The Colts won.
I'm not saying one style is better than another. The truth is you can find examples of both that have worked and failed. But to criticize Gus Bradley based specifically by his demeanor at a press conference is ridiculous. What would we say about Bill Bellichick and his ridiculous post conference demeanor? Just because you are louder than everyone else doesn't by itself mean you are right. It also doesn't mean you care more or know what your doing.
Looks like I missed some drama.. Oh well.. Read through some of it, skimmed through the rest. Kinda [BLEEP].. TMD is banned.. Wash, rinse, repeat..

The Colts won. In fairness Mora did some winning too. But I have yet to see any evidence one form of passion is better than any other. Seems good players will win regardless of the coaches habit of pounding podiums.
Quote:I seriously hope the Jags beat the brakes off the texans this season. As do all of us Jaguar fans.
So are the Jags still doomed with the great Wisenhunt and O'Brien dominating the league?
