I got to give Caldwell some credit on the MJD release

Quote:What's sad is his average is higher than Slowby's and he was cheaper.  Where Caldwell made a good move letting him walk, but still made a bad one signing Slowby.

Facts. I would have rather had MJD for closer to the veteran minimum than pay Slowby 3 mil or roughly $10,000 a yard so far..... At least MJD had some semblance of vision when he left, a skill that completely eludes Slowby.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

Quote:MJD never had any interest in staying in FL past his playing days. He couldn't wait to get back to the west coast. I can't help but notice how he's completely faded from the media spotlight since going to the Raiders though. Turns out no one is interested in talking to you when you're washed up and bitter.

Yep, except for that extremely rare rush, fumble, backwards punt we saw from him earlier in the season, which made all the highlights, low-lights, not top ten, and even C'MON MAN, he has pretty much faded from the media spotlight.

I'm sure he's been a real popular topic on Raider's message boards everywhere, even to the point of having multiple title threads with his name in them.

He was really ALL we had here for those last few seasons.

At least he is used to losing, because that's all he's going to do in Oakland.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

NO, the Jags need to maintain a high standard for the Pride.

MJD was a great player for a few years here, but just not enough to be Pride-worthy.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Naw. As much as I loved the guy he burned his bridges after the organization was nothing but great to him. I does not deserve to be honored by this team. He can let Ucla do that if they choose to.

MJD was not released. His contract expired. I hate it when people call that a release.

David Caldwell had a plan to start over at the running back position. Now we are starting to see some clarity as the offensive line improves at run blocking.

He is as likely to make the Pride as glabbart.

That season of him leading tbe league in rushing when Gabbert was our best QB option is what did him in I think. I guess a foot is really important for RB.
