Texans

The AFC south has turned into a joke, Like the AFC west when a team could win the division at 8-8

Quote:And they lost again!

Texans sitting at 2-5 with games remaining against Indy, New England and Denver.

On top of the loss,   the Texans likely lost ILB Brian Cushing to a season ending knee injury for the 2nd straight season.      The uphill battle to get back into the AFC playoff race is looking like a mountain climb for the Texans:

They will lose to the Jaguars at least once this season.

They also will be cleaning house at seasons end, unfortunately for us. They won't be getting no "Gus Bradley level coach" and will aim higher

Last week all AFC South teams lost.

This week 3 of 4 AFC South teams lost.

10 Wins will take the division. The Colts already have 5. The Colts are through the tough part of the schedule. Only 2 teams with a winning record (Chiefs, Bengals) remain for the Colts this season.

The Texans collapse is staggering. The Jaguars are rebuilding. The Titans are an average NFL team.

This is a 1 team division. Very underwhelming.

Yep, and with the Colts breezing to the division title, they will be able to rest their starters in week 17 and ensure that the Jags beat them and don't get Bridgewater.

If Caldwell is smart Blackmon and Shorts will be on IR by then along with any defensive players that might be starting to look good.

Also they better start Gabbert. He'll do what it takes if it comes down to week 17.

The wheels not only fell off of the bus known as the Texans, the damned thing has rolled over into a ditch. Only bright spot is Case Keenum looked good.

Caldwell probably won't do any of that though and probably try to win the game.

The Titans situation with Munchak is similar to what we had here in Jacksonville for most of the Del Rio era. Winning just enough to keep his job and patching the roster together with veteran pieces and mediocre draft picks.

You are hilarious. You were raving about Bradley when it appeared he was headed to Philly. Your shtick is so obvious. You did a total and complete 180 overnight when he became the favorite here.

defensive coach. Would have been a bad choice for Philly as well.

Offensive league. 7 of 8 head coaches hired this year are offensive minded coaches.

And yet somehow you were raving about Bradley when he was close to getting the Eagles job.

Once Kelly gets Mariota at QB, and Rex Ryan at DC, it will work out fine.

I just said I was wrong to do that. Bradley would have been a bad choice for them too. Offensive league. Hiring defensive minded head coach isn't a good idea.

Talk to me when either win anything of consequence.

and including Pete Carroll only raises uncertainty as to who really was the brains behind the defense in Seattle, he or Bradley.....given that Bradley was there pre- Carroll and the defense sucked, It suggests that Carroll had more to do with the defensive improvement and not Gus.

John Harbaugh won the last Super Bowl. And he was a special teams and DB coach with the Eagles.

But you already knew that.
