Teddy Is also working with Norv Turner. Blake has Jedd Fisch.

Man...it would have been wonderful to have Norv and his offense here with Bortles.

Fisch's offense stinks.  I've said it for a long time now but this team needs a change in offensive scheme badly.

Quote:His stats mean absolutely nothing until we have an OC that actually lets him play the game and doesn't limit him.

I'm assuming youre stats weren't against the Bengals as a "tough defense" because they've been anything but this year.
Coming into this game Cincinnati had allowed a total of 48 points in the 3 games they won at home and 37 in an overtime tie. They also haven't lost at home in 13 games. Their D is pretty tough at home.

The statistics of BB5 contradicts the game I watched.

On critical down and distance, the OC did not put the game in BB5's hands.  And when the play call was for BB5 to make a decision, he locked on his first read and was usually rather inaccurate.

Hurns bailed him out on 2 TDs with a couple great catches.

BB5 laid out Shorts, which I have no problem with...  But let's face it, BB5 throws up not only ducks, but also hospital balls...

I hope BB5 becomes the QB he projected to be during pre-season, but I'm not gonna sit here and say that anyone that has doubts about our QB is stoopid for thinking it.

I think I've seen enough of BB5 to get an idea of what his issues are.  And I also think Fish has too.  That's why Fish calls such bush league play calls on passing downs...

I don't know, guys.  I'm kinda getting concerned that BB5 isn't gonna project to the promise we saw in the pre-season...  I hope I'm wrong...  i really do.  But man, he just doesn't look like the same QB we saw in August.  AT ALL

Who cares?  We had this game.  Our D was solid.  Shoelace was cutting up the D-Line.  Our WRs were catching balls.

Our special teams sucked once again.  Our QB was lack luster, once again.

I'm tired of excuses, especially when it was obvious we had the talent to pull this game out.

That second TD to Hurns was placed where only Hurns could catch it.  Hurns didn't bail him out.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but his 96.4 qbr was far better than the other 2 rookie starting qbs today(Teddy 88 and Carr-66)

He threw into double coverage... And it was underthrown.

If almost 200 yards rushing by a rookie RB is your definition of "solid" defense I'd hate to see your definition of a bad defense.

Quote:I was too stupid and impatient to allow my rookie QB to develop before starting, and I complained nonstop. Now I am too stupid to understand that the quarterback that I asked for is having growing pains, and I don't want him anymore either. Maybe i am just too stupid to be a fan.

Quoted for truth. This represents over half of the (so called) Jaguar fans around here.

Go root for another team because i'm sick of your whining. Be a bandwagon fan and go root for the patriots because at least you'll sleep better at night.

Considering this is the first time the converted TE is getting personal coaching at the position.....he's doing great at the highest level

I just got back from the game and was curious how Bortles' play would be received by the board faithful. Not surprised that a 2 TD/1 INT 96 QBR performance on the road against the AFC North Division Champs with a gutsy comeback to an almost win would somehow turn into empirical proof that Bortles should be released Monday morning.

Speaking to the myriad of Bengals fans all around me, they'd be happy to swap you Andy Dalton and a case of brats for Bortles. All they did was scream obscenities at him and derisively call him "a #$%&@&@ Ginger" the whole game. They were just as negative about him as you guys are about BB5.

This guy wasn't whining.  These are fair assessments.  As much as we all want BB to succeed he is showing less and less promise each week.  Whether it's Fisch's play calling or BB himself or both is yet to be seen.

He is Manning if you are talking rookie Manning.  These buffoons think after 6 games he should be super bowl Manning.

This is what I'm saying, seems after 6 game he should be playing like a HoFer, this is Lucks third year and only now he's looking like a top qb and he was the most polished qb in recent history coming out of college.
