Believe it or not, it's very stable and comfortable at that speed.

Not really.  I actually prefer just a little bit of ripple or chop on the water.  Flat water as in the picture that I posted above is actually slower due to friction.

I've never been able to find a body I'd be comfortable going that fast on here. Maybe 60 tops for me.

Since part of the title of this thread said "all things fast", I thought that I would post a couple of pictures of my boat.  It's a 1999 Stroker Bass Boat with a Mercury Racing 250XS motor.  The first picture is me "cruising" down the St. John's River a couple of years ago.  The second is a photo of my top speed that day.  I've run it faster, but don't have a picture of the gauge with the peak speed/RPM reading.
