Fowler could use some vet leadership help. He needs to grow up, and Poz would be a pozitive influence.

I like the move.

That veteran leadership stuff is folklore. It's not even real.

If anyone can fit a square peg like Poz into a round hole like OLB, it's Coughlin. They'll find a way to cut off those edges and stuff him in there.

Quote:Miles Jack has a ways to go to post such #s as Poz did in the middle but Poz was targeted within the middle as well. His run stopping abilities will be missed but Jack's pass defense will be welcomed...

I'm hoping they have Jack put some weight back on. Talk of him being something like 213 lbs makes me nervous.

I really doubt hes that "small."  If you switch the 1 and the 3, I think that's what he will be at training camp.

He's 230ish lbs. while in an interview he mentioned shedding the weight for cardio reasons. He'll buck up to his normal playing weight of 247 lbs.

The guys on Jags This Week talking about how insulted Poz should be, to the extent of asking for his release was one of the most moronic commentaries I've listened to, which says a ton.

He should be insulted---to the extent of asking for his release---for remaining A STARTING LB?

He's going to ask for his release so he can....sign somewhere as a 2 Down LB?

For not a nickel less than he is making?

Truly out of touch commentary.

If anything, it could extend his career a bit.

Thanks, good one.

Jack really seems like a down to earth dude, I know he's probably the one who spends most time with fans signing stuff and taking pics at every game and after pratices (when they are open), I hope he succeeds and helps taking this defense to the next level with his immense talent.

Poz's one yesterday was really good too and he seemed definitely more confident about the SAM spot than a few weeks ago. He endorsed Jack and said he's going to be an unbelievalble MLB this year.

Poz is truly a pro's pro. I think he'll make a good coach when his playing career is over.

Poz has been in the top 10 in tackles year after year. He's not flashy but he will tackle the ball carrier.

Tackling is one thing everyone agrees Poz can do. I'd love to see a full-contact practice situation involving Poz and 4net.

Watched miles video and was impressed with his comments. Especially.

" Poz said to me if this is what it's going to take to win let's do this".

Referring to miles starting at middle linebacker.

That's bad asz

Bryce Paup disagrees with you.

I think poz is getting the short end of the stick based on potential alone. I love Jack. But he is not ready to be the MLB.

I sure hope Jack is ready. There's no real way to know just yet.

I'm wishing we could somehow find out what he's weighing right now. The last report of his weight had him scary light.
