I'm totally calm.... But Blackmon is not a normal NFL player or even a normal member of society for that matter. If Gordon was in a casino, i bet someone would have snapped a photo. A lot of you defending him are acting like he is just some guy who wanted to go a caisno. He is a guy trying to fight for the right to play football again. Going to a casino is just not smart.

 

He is a professional athlete and a person who is trying to change his image. Going to a casino is not helping his cause. And if he wanted to watch the game.... He could go to literally anywhere else haha. Casinos are the only places with TV's? got it.

I'm holding hope that Telvin Smith grows out of the rookie pains he showed last week and emerges as our best LB for next year just like Denard has been doing for the RB position. Smith has it all,  it's just a matter of development. You definitely don't want to spend a top 5 pick on a LB, that is for sure. 

 

This upcoming draft is painfully bad, so hopefully the GM can find some really good picks at the right time.

The problem with you statement, is pretty obvious. Out of the positions you say we should grab first, who is realistically going to be grabbed within the first 5 picks of the 2015 draft? 

 

I can tell you right now, even though you listed LB twice, it's not going to be the majority of your positions. 

 

Yes, we do need help at most of if not all of those positions, but the first 5 picks of the draft are usually a certain position. Cooper is going to be worth this. There is no guarantee on Blackmon, and to be honest, having both Cooper and Blackmon would be a pipe dream. So if it's possible, do it. If this offense ended up stacked, as in adding a Julius Thomas in the offseason at TE, and upping WR with Cooper/Blackmon, the defense we have now would definitely be worthy as we score TD after TD.

Goodell makes the decision to reinstate, but he also has to defend his decision. Drinking grapefruit juice at a casino isn't a valid reason. The NFLPA would have a field day on him if he based his decision on that.

Again laying low or out in the public in a questionable establishment? The best option would be to chill the [BLEEP] out in the privacy of your own residence. Its not that hard. At least until you've been reinstated. Something no one has harped on yet is that he hasn't even finished his rehab yet and look where he's at! Questionable judgement has lead to the reason as to why he's currently suspended. He still hasn't learned to make better decisions.
