Is this the next FS for the Jags?  He is a red shirt sophmore for the Cards like Manziel was when he came out and like Winston.  They have him marked as a 4.4 40 time in 2011.  He leads the nation with ints. and has a pick in every game but 1.  3 games with multiple picks.  If you google his name a pic of Ed Reed pops up.  He plays both safety positions but he would without a doubt play FS for us with his speed and ball hawking skills. I watched the Fl. St. game and he looked great in that game but I didnt realize how consistent the guy is. He is also on the number 1 defense in college and is a big part of that.  We can only hope he comes out this year.  I like Collins but it looks like he has the speed and the ball hawking abiltiy even more than Collins at what we need at the FS position.

It would be somewhat surprising if Holliman declares for the draft after this season, as redshirt sophomores traditionally have not, but the number of underclassmen entering the draft has been rising sharply in recent years.

He’s “Tryna be a first round draft pick,” according to his Twitter bio, and he just might have a chance if he keeps on making plays the rest of the season.

 

We can only hope he keeps it up and enters the draft!

Holliman is great at disguising his coverage as was seen in the Fl. St. game and has the speed to make a play on the ball when playing deep

6'2" 213 is not small for FS and I'm sure he would put on a few pounds. You say you like Smith better but he is 5'11 197 lol

Seems like he could be had in the late first as of now. Louisville has had a pretty solid D lately. I'll try to pay attention next time a Cards game is on TV

if Holliman keeps playing the rest of the season like he has I bet he goes 1st round easy. He has everything we are looking for at the FS position. Speed, size, ballhawking safety, instincts etc. What traits are you looking for at FS?

Yeah it was pretty nice.  I Watched him on every play (I did not watch the entire game) and there is a lot to like. He looked good in coverage, was a willing tackler and looked pretty natural catching and running with the ball. 

 

Heard good things about him but gonna wait to watch his tape before I judge.

 

I would expect nothing less from you. Hopefully you do a full report on him as those are always informative!
