No...we put the little TV in the guest room.

70" is just to big my eyes can't keep up with it, it's like siting to close at the theater

The room is longer than it is wider so it works in it, but in a normal sized room it would probably be too much.

Nice my father in law has a 70 inch but the room must be to small I hate watching it

My 60 inch is probably about as big as I can go in my apartment. It's certainly helped by the fact I sit 8 feet away from it. I also have a closet/room divider behind that quite a bit larger and it does a nice job of framing the TV making it seem smaller than it really is.

Thanks to everyone for their help.  I ended up getting a good deal from Amazon on a Dell I3 processor with 8GB RAM and 1 terabyte storage.  It is 64 bit and running Windows 7.  While I didn't get all the specs suggested, I got most of them.  I appreciate everyone's help.  Thanks again!

I bought the same unit for home on Black Friday and it was marked down from $499 to $379. Good deal.
