That is exactly what I need answers for. It makes absolutely no sense. Knowing why people do it is important because you can't fix a problem without knowing the cause.

You can't fix something when you're the only one who sees it as a problem. And that's true of all things in life. The others don't see it as a problem so there's not much that can be done about it. Just ignore it and eventually they'll stop or you'll get to the point- hopefully- where you don't care.

Light colors are not even good then. It looks almost like I have no polish on. After one nail I knew I needed the darker color, and that was in late July.

 

Mom learned the hard way nail polish remover expires. She had to buy some on the way to a podiatry appointment because the stuff she had did not work at all.

I understand having different perspectives. What makes no sense is people say things they know I hate, then say they like me. If you like me, why don't you act like it? If you don't like me, tell me that directly and the reason why.

Some folks are probably just trying to get a rise out of you. Others are just jerks. People are people and their motivations for what they do are known and make sense only to them.


Don't overthink it. It's not worth the time and effort. When I was on here many years ago I used to let folks get under my skin. Not intentionally, but I am a sensitive natured person and wonder why we all can't just get along, even with different opinions. The hate that used to exist here almost got the board shut down. I never could, and still can't, understand why folks get so ugly with those who don't agree with them. But that is just how people are and I use the ignore feature on here to filter those I absolutely cannot tolerate. Otherwise, live and let live.
