Bortles needs to play fast?

Quote:I appreciate your overreaction...no one advocated throwing it 60 times a game. If I did, feel free to quote me in your next post. I'm just doing what you said to me yesterday. Remember 10 years of patience?

You combat the blitz by running slants, screens, and draws. Lageman touched on it yesterday on Jags Monday that they tried to run a slugo route on Landry's blitz play. That ended up in a sack. Let's keep doing the same thing because it has worked so well so far. This is the NFL of the 21st century. You need to be able to throw the ball to do anything. Until we even attempt to stretch the field, the opponents will continue to put 8-9 people in the box. We aren't even trying to stretch the field. One of these years.............

It's on the coaches to install that type of wrinkle into the game plan. If the coaches are too scared to do that, get rid of them and bring in coaches that have the stones and confidence to implement an NFL type offense. There's really no way you can defend what is happening on the field without suspending reality. Quote:I almost feel like you've stopped watching the jags after the Cincy game... Our running game has been pretty much shut down after that. The opposing teams have realized our only option is to run, and are forcing that issue, knowing that our OC is not going to adjust. Our QB has sucked since the Browns game as well. (Winning that game in spite of Bortles) So we have no passing attack, and no rushing attack. What would you suggest?

Removing his option of checking into a pass if he likes coverage takes away from him developing. Personally I'd like to see QB's calling their own plays. Quote:Hot reads are our friends. I know they are available to him because hes called them before.

Quote:Punt on 1st down. Pretty much. Or just forfeit the remaining season.

Our QB sucks because our coaches believe he sucks and cannot handle more intricacy in the game plan. I was listening to the radio a few weeks ago, and a former coach of Peyton came on and was talking about how he kept challenging him during games, even during blowouts. He said he was also excited about Sundays because as Peyton began to make mistakes and games got out of hand is when he started adding more options for him to learn from. Our coaches are doing the opposite, as the season is slowly slipping away, they are giving Blake less responsibility. It's amazing why anyone would look at our situation and defend how our coaches are handling this situation. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote:Forgive me, but can you name a time in the last 2 months where u saw a hot read? Robinson's long catch at the end of the Cowboys game.

Quote:You and FBT might as well be twins. And you and Jeremy must be twins - going back and forth congratulating each other on your terrific insight and knowledge. Must be cool to be an NFL insider.

Quote:Exactly, I really believe that BB has taken it as a kick in the junk when they made it public that they were going to hold him back. Makes no sense at all. LOL - now you're Dr. Phil! Tell us again how BB is a winner at heart. Such insight.
