Bradley's record as head coach is approaching historically bad

Quote:Did Pettine really get outcoached or did they just have a really bad game? He's had some huge clock management gaffes.

There were plenty of times where Del Rio's teams beat really good teams, even on the road. He thrived as the underdog. I don't recall Del Rio's coaching ever being this bad. I don't recall anything even close to be honest.
Quote:I don't recall Del Rio's coaching ever being this bad. I don't recall anything even close to be honest. Even look at the year Del Rio got fired, 2011. They did get blown out by the Jets. 6 of the other 7 losses were by 10 points or less. We wish we could do that now.

Ok, so let's be positive...
We have too many young players, so we are being outclassed on offense. We have a rookie qb that requires our offense to run heavy and on passing plays throw behind the sticks. Because of these shortfalls we need to expect to be this bad. Next year, when our rookies are more experienced we will win 7 or 9 games, because players just get better over time irregardless of coaching. Coaches do not matter as much as time, time heals and fixes everything. This is wishful thinking. It is what some fans, rottenallltheseyears, hang their hopes on. But it's a pipe dream flawed by the reality of what we see on the field, and what statistically we see on paper. News flash... You can be a fan of the jaguars and still see we are moving in the wrong direction Quote:Even look at the year Del Rio got fired, 2011. Man you're right and that's sad ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Time for someone to bring up Bill Walsh. Bill Walsh won 8 games in his first two seasons. Gus will have to win 3 of the last 5 to match that. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?" Quote:Well Gus has stepped in and improved the Defense, unfortunately that is all that has happened. I just don't know anymore. Good for a defensive coordinator not so much for a Head Coach. It is like Del Rio 2.0 I like how we accept as gospel that the defense is improved. Last I've checked we've allowed the most points in the league and are ranked 30th in yards allowed. Just saying. One of these years.............

As a business owner, he HAS to be.I doubt very much that he (Khan) would let anyone know about it if he is... but I would also almost have to expect that he would be looking around. It's a production based industry, and that goes for coaches too...
I y'ams who I y'ams and thats all I y'ams...

Quote:Hopefully Khan has someone who will be willing to tell him that this isn't working. He can go to Tony for that. I'm sure Tony is running the statistics and letting Shad know that the current regime is exhibiting historic levels of failure.
Quote:So smart. Oh, I know! You should be head coach/gm. Maybe they'd let you import your roster from Madden. Are the players worse than the 2011 team? The Jags were not this bad in 2011. Even in 2012 under Mularkey, with Blaine F. Gabbert at QB, and a roster so bad it had to be gutted, the Jags were not 32nd in both offense and defense. Gus is captaining a team that is historically inept in all three phases of the game, and the roster is not close to that bad. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?" Quote:Are the players worse than the 2011 team? The Jags were not this bad in 2011. The roster is pretty pathetic though. One of these years.............
Crazy that Del Rio was so much better than Bradley is.
Shack was also a little overly hated tbh. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Gus needs to win 3 of the 5 remaining games to match Walsh's first 32 games with S.F. (8-24).
Update: Sorry, I see this was already posted............ But Walsh won big his third year. Quote:Ok, so let's be positive... Please explain Denard Robinson. He couldn't do anything but fumble last year. Now he is everyone's favorite jag. A real 5th round gem. I wonder what in the world happened. Quote:Crazy that Del Rio was so much better than Bradley is. To be fair JDR had some decent talent to work with from the start and a couple of gamechangers. Freddie T was no slouch.
