Funny how when these articles people write about FSU paint any sort of positive light on the program, it's nothing but excuses and hogwash and much ado about nothing. When you have articles that constantly leave out important facts like the garbage the NYT has put out, people always side with them.

I'll tell you what a fact is: A fact is a truism that FSU beat the Champion of the SEC last year. The best of the SEC. That is a fact.

You just posted in another thread saying that Mizzou could win the sec and not even be elected to the top 4…therefore it sounds like you believe the sec champion wouldn't be th e best team in the sec and that would double for last year as well.

HA !! Looking back, signing Tebow may have been a good idea.  In reality, we did go with Gabbert and Henne and that has gotten us to 1-9 in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

 

Love how people throw in the Tebow jabs as if we really proved that the direction we took lead us to have such better seasons.

Never looked at it that was. I wasn't a proponent if signing Tebow. But that's a very interesting take. Couldn't have been worse, that's for sure.

I'm serious. And this isn't gator hate. Again, were you on these boards? I have to ask that. I know you say you were JJ, but I'm really starting to question that. There was such a huge push for Tebow that non tebow Jag fans were talking about not renewing tickets if we signed him. There was pro tebow and anti tebow. The love and hate was incredibly strong. He isn't considered one of the most polarizing players of all time for nothing. I don't think it would have been good for the fan base and was splitting it apart in some areas.

I've already said there were gator fans that didn't want to draft tebow. But they weren't the majority at least not on these boards (or in my own experience).


I've stated on here before that it was more than just gator fans. But again, that does have anything to do with my argument. I'm talking about what gator fans did with tebow. They took it to a level we have never, ever seen.


Once Jameis gets drafted, that'll be that. It won't go on for 3 years afterwards.
