Bradley's record as head coach is approaching historically bad
|
Quote:Reid knew what he was doing. Despite their record, the Chiefs had talent. He made the move for Alex Smith, which has worked out for the most part. I'd say the chances that Reid would've come here were between slim and none.Maybe - but Khan has the money and could have made him an offer that would have been hard to refuse. I just think it was a bad overall strategy to go so young on the roster and bring in a rookie GM/rookie HC - and rookie coordinators. We show less advertisements to registered users. The biggest mistake was not hiring a veteran play caller like Norv Turner.
Quote:Dave is the only guy that I will have the wait and see attitude on. Because he's the one that has a background of working and learning from other good to great football minds and team builders. He has shown he has a knack for drafting some talent and he's taken some chances on players that he missed. But that happens to all GMs. The other thing I can give him credit for is the players he's pursued. Atleast he has tried to pry those players this way IE: Emanual Sanders and Alex Mack. But so far he's had 2 big misses, Paul Bradly and Bubba Bortles.Luke Joeckel can be added to the miss list. He gets run over like a squirel running across I-95.He looks like he'd rather be watching the game on TV.

Yeah maybe but at least with bust LT's in most case they can be decent at other positions on the line. There is still hope for him even if LT is not a spot for him. Borltes either gets it or he becomes Gabbert part deuce. Quote:The Gus Bradley era is clearly over. He will be fired at season end or sooner and replaced by a seasoned head coach. The larger quetsion is what to do about Bortles whose performance has deteriorated since he took over from Henne. The Jags clearly can't bet the franchise on this guy and will plan accordingly. I see you've caught on quickly - just pull things out of your butt and look stupid. You'll fit right in. I look forward to more great insights.

Quote:I see you've caught on quickly - just pull things out of your butt and look stupid. What a brilliant poster. Attack everyone and never actually talk about football. Quote:What a brilliant poster. You're not real quick on the uptake, are you? That was my point - if you weren't so blind that you missed it. So what was "actually talking football" about his post? Unless you think just making stuff up, and stupid stuff at that, is "actually talking football". Hmm, maybe you do.

I think the front office needs to stop taking gambles with these hires, they never work out in our favor in the end

He has the defense playing better with all the young guys on the team. However, he has to take some responsibility for the garbage on offense and special teams. How many blocks and near blocked field goals do we want? When will Jedd be dumped? This team has 0 credibility and no respect. I can't imagine this is what Khan envisioned after 2 years. The team is young but there's very little promise. They've managed to make Bortles look like Gabbert and we know Blake is better than that. We're good for one drive per game and that's it.
No pain, no gain.
I don't remember Del Rio or Coughlin taking the team out for banana splits to lift their spirits after a blowout loss. We need to keep Gus because it's an opportoony to compete and get better. This is a special group. Character, not winning, is what is important. But when you do somehow manage to win, it is imperative that you celebrate like you won the Super Bowl.
Make the Jags Great Again
Blake Bortles......YOU'RE FIRED! Dave Caldwell.....YOU'RE FIRED!
Quote:You're not real quick on the uptake, are you?Way to go - you are just way to "brilliant" for me - in that awfully "special" kind of way.

Birth of the Franchise - November 30, 1993
Death of the Franchise - November 29, 2011 Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past. Quote:Luke Joeckel can be added to the miss list. Luke Joeckel is NOT playing as bad as most of you think he is. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div> Quote:Where the hell is this coming from? Luke Joeckel is NOT playing as bad as most of you think he is. Minced got a sack on him, so he is the worse ever. Duh

Quote:Let's compare the Gus Bus to some of the guys regarded as the worst head coaches in recent NFL history.Mike Mularkey Jaguars 2012 coach 2 wins 14 lost .125% winning
On January 4, 2012, Shahid Khan became the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
His first Head Coach Mike Mularkey 2 wins 14 loss .125 winning (2012) 2nd HC Gus Bradley 4 wins 12 loss .250 winning (2013) - in his 2nd year Gus has 1 win 10 loss .091 winning (2014 so far) That is a total record of 7 wins and 36 loss for a winning percentage of .162% as Khan as the owner. Gus currently is .227 winning % for his career as a Jaguar HC, can he turn it around?
Quote:Mike Mularkey Jaguars 2012 coach 2 wins 14 lost .125% winning That wasn't Mularkey's first gig. His actual head coaching record was 16-32. He wasn't great, but he made Gabbert look almost competent. I can't believe he'd have done worse by Bortles than Gus and Fisch have up to this point. |
