Reid knew what he was doing. Despite their record, the Chiefs had talent. He made the move for Alex Smith, which has worked out for the most part. I'd say the chances that Reid would've come here were between slim and none.

Maybe - but Khan has the money and could have made him an offer that would have been hard to refuse.  

 

I just think it was a bad overall strategy to go so young on the roster and bring in a rookie GM/rookie HC - and rookie coordinators.

Dave is the only guy that I will have the wait and see attitude on. Because he's the one that has a background of working and learning from other good  to great football minds and team builders. He has shown he has a knack for drafting some talent and he's taken some chances on players that he missed. But that happens to all GMs. The other thing I can give him credit for is the players he's pursued. Atleast he has tried to pry those players this way IE: Emanual Sanders and Alex Mack. But so far he's had 2 big misses, Paul Bradly and Bubba Bortles.

Yeah maybe but at least with bust LT's in most case they can be decent at other positions on the line. There is still hope for him even if LT is not a spot for him. Borltes either gets it or he becomes Gabbert part deuce.

The Gus Bradley era is clearly over. He will be fired at season end or sooner and replaced by a seasoned head coach.The larger quetsion is what to do about Bortles whose performance has deteriorated since he took over from Henne. The Jags clearly can't bet the franchise on this guy and will plan accordingly.

He has the defense playing better with all the young guys on the team. However, he has to take some responsibility for the garbage on offense and special teams. How many blocks and near blocked field goals do we want? When will Jedd be dumped? This team has 0 credibility and no respect. I can't imagine this is what Khan envisioned after 2 years. The team is young but there's very little promise. They've managed to make Bortles look like Gabbert and we know Blake is better than that. We're good for one drive per game and that's it.

This is a special group. Character, not winning, is what is important. But when you do somehow manage to win, it is imperative that you celebrate like you won the Super Bowl.
