*** OFFICIAL Florida vs Florida State Pregame thread ***

Quote:This thread reminds me of some old ACC smack talk threads. The inferiority is so thick the only smack talk comes about the distant past, things unrelated to football, and things that can't be categorically proven such as passion of the fanbase.

FSU is better. We've outrecruited you, outcoached you, and now we're going to outplay you. Our weakest spot is defending the power rushing attack. Your strongest suit is power rushing. It's still not going to be enough. You're players will come out of the tunnel hyped out of their minds trying to salvage a smidge of self-respect as athletes by stealing FSU's limelight. FSU will be calm and collected and may struggle to match the intensity at the start of the game. It's still not going to be enough. You're going to try to shorten the game as much as possible so that luck has a better chance of pushing you over the finish line. It's still not going to be enough.

In the end O'Leary's gonna truck, Ramsay's gonna be everywhere, Edward's gonna shove people around, and Jameis gonna Jameis.

FSU - 24

UF - 13
Good post. I like this line of thinking.

Lol...that was a golden post.

FSU has won a national title and they think they feel like they have had a 10 year dynasty.  The inferiority comes from FSU fans thinking that even though they won one national title, the SEC is still better.

Pretty sad when the Gator fans dont travel to cheer their team on in a prominent Bowl game.

That's probably the reason Strong chose Texas, too many fair weather fans.
Lets address the matter at hand first. Typical JFC. Proven wrong, so just pull up more stuff.

We can talk about the 2007 FSU attendance at music city bowl later.

And Strong chose Texas. Yes he did. Over the fair weather Gator Fans ? There was no choice between that and UF. You make zero sense. Not to mention it's been shown that FSU has been more fair weather then UF. Oh I forgot, travel.

you just dont understand how much more teacherous it is to drive through the panhandle as opposed to central florida.

For that Sugar Bowl game, didnt UF just lose the SEC title game that many people traveled to see?  I'm pretty sure fans were a bit bitter they weren't playing for a national title.  Doesn't excuse not showing up for your team, but I can see that.

Charlie Strong chose Texas as if Florida offered him the job?  LOL

Ahh, spoiled fan base then.  They still put out quite a bit of money in the previous few years....between feeling bad for themselves and saving a few bucks.

i liked the post because the gators and noles both have 3 championships but the person that cat attack is replying to was saying how the SEC as a whole is still better.

9 for the SEC in the last 15 years....... 2 for the ACC haha

When most of your season ticket holders come from further down south, it is a little more difficult traveling to Tallahassee as opposed to Gainesville for a game. I'm not surprised you and others read over where I said that though.

You should care.  Because your conference is weak, you are undefeated and two teams with a loss are in front of you.  Can you imagine if it was only a national championship game and not a 4 team playoff?  You'd be on the outside looking in.
