Give Denard A Shot

#1

What is there to lose? Jacksonville isn't getting a first down regardless, why not give it a shot for the 1% chance he provides a spark?

What is there to lose? And I can assure you that you aren't speaking for everyone. Not everyone thinks Henne is a good QB, as you seem to think.

There's nothing to gain. Our team sucks. Making a halftime decision to start someone with no NFL experience at quarterback would just turn this game into even more of an embarrassment.

#5

It would also send the false message that the quarterback is completely to blame for our ineptitude, when really we're just getting poor play from everyone.

Well, we can certainly lose the ball.

Maybe they should attempt it in more than just trick play scenarios. There is an idea.

#8

I don't understand what the point in sticking with Henne is.

Since when is a simple read-option a trick play?

When you use that package once a game.

Stanzi > Robinson at QB. Robinson needs to focus on learning the positions he's actually going to play in the future.

#12

Anytime Robinson is at QB it's a trick play.

You're right. Henne will put butts in the seats.

Why waste time on a gimmick? Play the guys you have in the positions they should play. Make changes in the offseason. Repeat until you succeed.

You think Henne will be on this team next year? lol...

The same amount Denard would. Neither is the answer and as I said Denard needs to learn WR/RB. He struggles enough with that.

Did I say that?

What I do say is that Todman and Robinson will be the RBs so he should be gettting snaps there.

Chad Henne just tried to throw it to our right tackle. Can you blame for for wanting to at least see Stanzi or Denard taking snaps?

I don't get you guys.
