Who is Andrew Luck?

I think the Colts game is now the toughest remaining game on our schedule at this point.

Haha that's not saying a lot! Cowboys are better than the Colts when they have Romo. But with weeden...

Colts way too one dimensional, today they passed like 20 of their first 23 plays.

Luck may have the most talented receiver group in the NFL though so it makes sense

NFL needs to modify the rules on intentional grounding. That play by Luck was painful.

Luck can not just throw but run the ball as well!

Quote:Couple Andrew Luck related articles.  One interesting, one funny.  This is his 3rd year, and should tell us a lot more about his career trajectory.  Will this be his breakout year?  Will his stats catch up to the hype?  Will he be taken seriously in the playoffs?  Or is this the year we are officially not worried about him and thankful Peyton Manning is gone?

Is that Chuck Norris at the far right?

chuck norris would be at least 3 iterations further along the spectrum.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Yup, and MJD to the far left.

Luck was awarded AFC offensive player of the month, again.

He's also leading the league in passing yards (over 4,000 already) and is among the leaders (top 3) in TD passes. He's increased his completion percentage (64%), QB rating (at 103.0) and leads the league in explosive plays (plays 20+ yards).

Can we admit that he's good now, or do we still have to wait and come up with excuses?

If you're desperate for approval I'm sure there's plenty of back-patting to go around over at the colts forum.

Not looking for approval.

I'm really curious why so many on this board didn't see this coming? I get that he was "crowned" before proving anything in the league, which is, and can be annoying. But that's not created by Luck. He doesn't fabricate these media stories or fan the flames, like an RGIII or Manziel might. He just goes out an plays football.

I think many (media members, coaches, GMs) saw this coming, and for that reason, prematurely anointed Luck as "elite". He's well on his way, if not there now. He's definitely in the MVP conversation this year, in only his third year in the league.

Actually most people on this message board have a very high opinion of the guy as a player.

Anyone who didn't already approve of him likely won't unless he wins a Superbowl.

Living proof that there's no such thing as "enough respect" when it comes to sports fans.

If luck can put together one or two more seasons like this, then I will give you all the glorious elite label that you want from me.

I just think that he is closer to year 1 and 2 luck, and that this year is a result of bad competition among other things.
