I didn't bring "they" up. The poster I quoted is implying that because I said I would rather have Matthews 4 months ago that it somehow refutes the fact that Joeckel is not good. It doesn't. And I'd still rather have Matthews.

When forced into action, Young doesn't seem to have played that poorly. We'll see Sunday.

Quote:Are you sure Watt will not be on Joeckel's side? People have been saying in other threads he goes against the left tackle.

Here you go again with people having to play the same position on every down. They move him all around, both sides, middle, hand down, two point, TE, SS, NCB, defensive coordinator, mascot.

I'm still hoping Luke can develop.  Must be awesome to root against Jags players being good.

Huh

Not rooting against anyone. Just calling it how I see it. I would be thrilled if Luke developed into a LT the caliber of what he was drafted to be.

He needs an offseason where he's not recovering from injury and continuity to his right should help

Luke The Joke is gonna get raped. Bortles might go to IR messing around with these tackles.

Unreal how he wasn't a top 5 pick... Dude is an athletic freak and most likely the hardest working player in the NFL.

It's not like the Jaguars have never played the Texans with Watt.

Actually have had some success. And it's not like the Texans are 10-2 or something.

Why all the OMG we're gonna die!

When we had success against J.J. Watt, the offensive line was much older and all five guys were starters. Now we have only one veteran in front of Blake Bortles and our right tackle is a backup.

Not having to worry about Jadeveon Clowney is huge. That allows us to concentrate more on Watt.

Not a tweet - but some good news on Allen Robinson's recovery:

Quote:*Rookie wide receiver Allen Robinson said his recent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot went well and that he expects to begin on-field work in late January or early February. “I’m just ready to get back,” Robinson said, adding that he expects to begin rehabilitation “in a couple of weeks or so. … Once we start up (the team’s offseason program) in the spring, I’ll be able to do everything.” …
