I can't even get interested in that story or read through this thread.  Jameis hooked up with a wacko that was pissed that she turned out to be a 1 night stand.  It happens.

I thought this was an interesting article and yes I realize this comes from a voice for male students so take it with a grain of salt. The biggest thing that jumped out at me is what the prosecutor who prosecuting many rapists said. People always say why would someone put themselves through this, etc... but there are many studies that have concluded false rape claims are much higher than other crimes. The problem is we just don't know. Now this doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Winston and his accuser. But I think it is important to know that false rape claims are much higher than the 2%-8% figure that gets thrown around.

Ive always thought, and Winston said in his statement yesterday, that if a rape claim was made and found to be false then that person should serve the same punishment that a convicted rapist would.

It's just tough to prove either way especially in a case like this. Met before, voluntarily goes with him, no physical signs of trama, gave oral (which is tough to force someone to do)... doesn't mean she wasn't raped, but I mean how in the heck do you convict someone of it?

I remember back in the 90's the government put out a big "Date Rape" awareness program which was later scrapped by the G.W.Bush administration. More than likely a republican plot to socially keep man above woman.
