Week 15 College Football Playoff Rankings

Quote:Since you won't come up with anything other "top 5 schedule that's crazy talk" to back up your argument (proven to be WAY outdated with the link you provided) I guess we just agree to disagree.
Stats can be made to fit any agenda...how bout this stat:

FSU 12-0

Alabama 11-1

I mean clearly FSU is the far superior team with a perfect record. Smh....we won't know unless they play one another.

The debate was about SOS not overall record. Jtmoney twice used the wrong information to downplay Alabama's SOS and then tried to discount wins that WVU had against "weak" opponents. At least WVU has a quality win against Baylor. Try looking at N.C. State's same 7-5 record and you tell me who needs to throw out wins against "weak" opponents. Then I realized he wasn't going to back up his claim with anything other than his misguided opinion so I agreed to disagree with him. But you sir are absolutely right Alabama has 1 loss while FSU remains undefeated. For now.

Quote:I'm confused once again by your numbers. I'm far from being a mathematician and please point out any errors if you see them.

WVU 7-5

FAU 3-9

S.Miss 3-9

UF 6-5

Ole Miss 9-3

ARK 6-6

T A&M 7-5

TENN 6-6

LSU 8-4

MSU 10-2

WCU 7-5

AUB 8-4

= 80-63

Now playing devil's advocate let's throw out the records of the 2 worst teams they played (which were non-con because the SECW is hands down the division in the FBS) that W/L record becomes 74-45 nearly 30 games over .500.

I did the same for FSU whose opponents W/L was 72-70. Taking away WF and Syracuse (conference opponents whose record was 3-9) I came up with 66-52 a paltry 14 games over .500.

I think I'm still in the camp of Alabama having at least a top 5 SOS this year.
I thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment that was provided over the last few pages of the thread.

Like I said Wallbash Smile  and has only been reinforced! Wallbash

I only did it once and corrected it once I realized the mistake was made. You don't count wins if they weren't against division 1. I thought you were joking earlier but you are serious, lol.

If you don't want to count wins against division 1 schools then how many wins does N.C. St. have?
<a class="bbc_url" href='http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/schedule/_/id/152/north-carolina-state-wolfpack'>http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/schedule/_/id/152/north-carolina-state-wolfpack</a>

And that 50 cent website you keep posting as our source of info is a joke.

Their best win was against an 6-6 UNC team but WVU schedule is the one full of division 1 teams lol.

You're the one who started grading the opponents opponents so I just went down the same road you did with N.C. State's pathetic schedule. Don't talk about the splinter in someone else's eye all the while ignoring the log in your own.

I'm not ignoring it at all. I said go for it, but I wasnt arguing about the Noles SOS. I didn't bring it up because it was never my argument. People need to lighten up around here. It's Friday for crying out loud.
