Rashad Greene

It can't hurt us to draft one more solid WR. Can you imagine it: Lee, Hurns, Shorts, Robinson, (Possibly Blackmon?), and Rashad Greene!?

We'd be in WR heaven. And improved Bortles could put up a lot of high numbers just with that corps alone right there.

Hmm, interesting. 4 no votes to 1 yes vote. I'd be interested in hearing some opinions on this.

I think it's just the depth at WR. I think we currently have four number 1 recievers. Now Blackmon is a mystery and Shorts might leave, but Lee and Robinson have real potential

I think anybody would take him. I don't know that most people would spend a second rounder on him with so many needs on this team.

Depends on his offseason. He's not the biggest guy.

Easy answer. He's not a gata..

If he fell to the third round and Caldwell manages to have some extra mid round picks  --   Sure.

Outside of that - I don't really want to see a WR taken in the early rounds by the Jags.  Just too many greater needs IMO.

Without a doubt.

My assumption is they add a free safety, linebacker and right tackle in free agency. They still then need to add a running back, tight end, a guard, another linebacker.

No one we have right now is a #1 WR. Stop lying.

As for the topic of Greene. Nope. He's undersized, not very fast, and not that great a route-runner to compensate for it. Fantastic college player, but don't see him being much of anything in the pros.

Clearly you haven't watched him that much.

Greene would be welcome. Dude catches everything and is always open. Cannot go against that.

20+ games over the last two seasons sure isn't watching him much, I guess.

He's McCardell.

The Jags don't have a #1 WR and I don't think there is one in this draft.

But I wouldn't opposed to one in the 3rd/4th because Ace sucks and Im assuming Cecil isn't coming back.

Greene is a legit NFL wr. Question is where do you draft him?

Reply

#17

Voted no because I don't want a WR in the first two days of the draft and that's where he will end up going.

Why.. because he's playing game after game against undraftable DB's... I think not.

I would Rather Trade Back and pick up a few picks and maybe draft O'leary as a TE. We have good recievers can pick up some ok ones in 3 and 4th rounds.

Good question, I've seen some people rank him as a first rounder but I don't see it. I'm thinking around late 2nd early 3rd would be good value for him, but not for us.
