FSU going cross-country to the Rose Bowl is not good for them. Oregon only has to go a little bit south.

This is after FSU fans shelled out big money going to Charlotte for the ACCCG. I wonder how much tickets and airfare to Pasadena is going to run close to New Years Day? And then should FSU win that game FSU fans get to once again shell out even more money to travel to Arlington TX. for the NCG. I can now see why so many people were pu$hing for the payoff$ I mean playoff$.

Very smart move and a good deal for you. Unfortunately there's going to be many fans paying big money for that trip and I feel kinda bad for them.

Well after paying close to 3 grand last year with my flight around 500.00, I was looking to only spend less than 700.00 dollars. My seats will be a little higher but still on the FSU side.

 

When we make it to Texas, I will only have to worry about tickets, as I can drive and only spend about 150.00 on gas and split the cost of lodging with friends and alumni. 

 

The boosters are already doing a better job distributing tickets for this game as opposed to the NC last year.

Being in the Marching Chiefs I can speak to the travel fatigue if nothing else of the cross-country bowl trips. Really, there isn't any. You go out a week ahead of time and have plenty of time to get acclimated. Actually the most tired I ever was, was in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. But that was because of uncomfortable beds and Bourbon Street being oh-so-convenient.

 

I'm not worried about the trip to Cali.

No way is FSU winning by 20 points. A team that came from behind to barely beat low-ranked and unranked teams can't blow out the best team in the best conference.

I know that's how it traditionaly worked... But with the new system the bowls seem to be more at large bid based off the rankings from what somebody was telling me.

But in general, sports are uncertain and college bowls especially so. Look at Oklahoma over Alabama last year or West Virginia over Clemson just a few years ago.
