wo bye weeks for the Gators?

#1

I don't understand this. Flor/ida already had a bye week in September. Now I can't find anything that says they already played, are playing now, or will play tonight. Why did they get two bye weeks? Did I miss something?

They weren't that bad when the schedule came out.

They always get a bye week before the biggest outdoor cocktail party of the year comes thru.

As bad as the Gators have been I will surely be partaking in the cocktails next Saturday.

So they should not have gotten a bye week in September.

I'm pretty sure almost every college football team gets multiple bye weeks.

What makes you say that? This is the first year I ever heard of Flo/rida getting two bye weeks. For decades no Big Ten team ever had bye weeks, so they all bucked tradition by getting just one a year.

I think it's because of the calendar and the way the schedules fall this year and next....
