No need for a sarcasm font, you were unintentionally correct. The Jaguars showed improvement today. If you expected more from this offense against the Ravens defense, especially the pass rush, you were setting yourself up for disappointment.

It could have been worse, Ravens dropped lots of balls over the middle with our Linebackers trailing 3 steps behind. On the positive side I noticed they have male cheerleaders on the Baltimore side, and watching their handclaps it is obvious Gus is every bit their equal. His arm extension, quick pause after the third clap, and then the low five to players coming off the field was tremendous.

And per NFL.com they are 16th in total defense.  That is the definition of mediocre.

 

Sorry, but you can't say we played well against a great defense.  We played our normal horrible selves against a middle of the road, average defense.
