Who do we take at six ?

#1

I can't see the Bucs, Titans, Raiders, Jets or Redskins winning another game this season and that means we'll be picking at six in the draft.

That really changes things.

Forget lucrative trade-backs and players like Williams, Gregory, Mariota and Cooper will probably have gone.

So, who do we want from the next tier of players ?

I'd like Scherff or maybe Beasley.

definitely not beasley. hes looking like he is going to be way overdrafted. at 6, gregory could still be there. if we are ruling out a trade down then you would have to look at guys like scherff or andrus peat.

you dont want to reach for a need and the guys available there will likely be OL, maybe amari cooper..... not sure who else would be proper value there.

What if we lose this week?  That obviously changes things.  If Bortles and/or Lee are out, it could easily go either way.  We already lost to them once.

If we aren't picking those first 4 names, I'd say Shane Ray.  Maybe Clemmings or Stanley are a possibility too if they want a RT.

I know the rankings will change a lot before draft day. Right now I like Leonard Williams, Randy Gregory, Trae Waynes, and Shane Ray.

I'm interested in the top three receivers (Cooper, Parker, and White) and Shaq Thompson.

I don't want Collins, the two OTs, or Beasley.

If we win one game and the Jets lose out, we'll still have the weaker SOS and pick 5.

I'll take Ameer Abdullah or Denzel Perryman as a second tier pick. Both would start on this roster.

Ray, McKinney, Fowler, Strong, White, Waynes... they are multiple OT's that will be sitting there; Schreff, Stanley, Collins, Peat

I almost feel better about taking Ray than Gregory.

A RB or MLB at 6 overall? Gross.

That is probably what will happen. Their last two games are against the Patriots and Dolphins. But what about the 3-11 Redskins?

The only problem with picking a middle linebacker at #6 is we don't need one. As for running backs, I don't want one in any round.

I still think that we'd have a chance to trade back some too but I mean it all depends on what happens still
