Excellent DC. He knows the conference, a great add for UF. This is a guy Jimbo went after last year after losing his DC.

We certainly need one of those. But I am more interested in the type of defense he brings to UF.

If you would have told the public audience in 1995 that UF would be rumored to get the Mississippi coach as a HC and end up getting the guy out of Colorado State .... and then hire their DC from Miss State, the town of Gainesville would be in an uproar.

 

.... just amazing how the NCAA has changed nationally.

It wouldn't at all. Good coaches can be found in a myriad of spots.
