After watching the play calling on that drive, it's clear we are only interested in field goals.

Its very simple. Its not fear of a QB. Thats just dumb. This teams needs an entire roster overhaul. While a good QB helps, to argue otherwise is even dumber, but one guy wont help this terrible team get out of the dregs.
