How Might the Top 6 Picks Fall Out?

Every year? Doubt that.

1. Buccs - Marcus Mariota QB

2. Tacks - Leonard Williams DT

3. *Trade* Jets - Jameis Winston QB

4. Redskins - Shane Ray OLB

5. Raiders - Amari Cooper WR

6. Jaguars - Randy Gregory OLB

Unlike the last draft, I think our 2015 draft 1st overall pick is already decided. It'll be Gregory, Ray, Fowler, or Beasley. No way we reach on a RT

Why would the Tacks take Williams when they run a 3-4 and already have Casey? They'll go QB. Book it.

Who knows what the Titans will do with the No. 2 pick. It is said they really like Mettenberger as their signal caller. Jay Cutler is also linked to them. On the draft side, Leonard Williams can easily play the 3-4 DE - 5 Technique such that the Titans have Williams on one end and Casey on the other end. Finding 3-4 OLBers is easier than finding a 3-4 DE that can rush the passer. This is why Leonard Williams could work in the Jags defense, taking the spot that Red Bryant plays and that Alualu backs up.

A best case scenario for them would be to get the Jets at Pick 5 to trade for the 2nd pick and have the Titans move down to Pick 5.

Why is it better for us to have the Titans trade with the Jets? If we win we might get the #6 pick and no matter what it is important to win Sunday. With that pick it does not matter if two of the first five teams trade.

It would really be best for everyone involved if the titans picked right before us. I'm hoping they trade with the Jets!

How would we know if they ever got close to doing it?

Look at how much time is on the draft clock when our pick is announced.

If we watch for trades we will miss all the highlights!
