The more I watch Bridgewater...
|
The more I'm convinced he is highly overrated and will be the next Blaine Gabbert. He is skittish as hell with defenders within 5 yards of him. He senses the pressure but not in a positive way. He panics and throws inaccurate. He's a highlight phenom. He's a product of a weak schedule and throwing TD's to wide open WR's. Grant it he at least finds the open guy unlike our own current QB's. I'll give him that much. He's not a play maker under pressure on a consistent basis. Does not have the "It" factor. Somehow some Louisville fan has infiltrated this board and brain washed a lot of people here. With all that said it's just my own opinion when I watch him. If we go qb with our first pick please go with MM. The guy is a dual threat and the Jags can build around a big athletic fast QB instead of waiting 3 years for TB to figure out that WR's in the NFL do not get open by 10 yards on every play.

I am not as high on Bridgewater as some but at the same time I don't see what you do. As far as Marcus Mariota, there is little chance he comes out as a red shirt sophmore, history shows the usually stay for another year in school. If next year we are still in the same shape I will jump on the bandwagon.

Been saying this for a long time. Bridgewater wont be Gabbet but he isnt the stud that the media and people on this board make him out to be. Bridgewater will be an average QB at best. The QB who has the "it" factor and could turn this franchise around is Johnny Manziel.
Manziel 2014!

Quote:Ya your right RG3 and Russel Wilson have had no success in the NFL...RG3 has looked like absolute garbage this season. He makes one read and once the read is covered he panics, seems to be the m.o with read option qbs. Russell Wilson game from a pro style system, thank you very much. Quote:A poor bridgewater supporter who can't see the error of his ways.Bridgewater is no perfect prospect, I admit that. Yes, please, take Mariota with the first pick. So then our next season slogan after the 3rd game of the regular season would be "Shameless for Jameis".

The QB who has the "it" factor and could turn this franchise around is Johnny Manziel. I'm not opposed to drafting Clowney and Manziel 1&2. But please stay away from the hype machine. This kid has one signature win against Florida. But when you watch the tape in the second half that defense was starting to get Bridgewater off his game. Bridgewater is not going to have the time and wide open wide outs that he has now at the NFL level. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote:What do the 2 have to do with each other? They both put up similar numbers in similar conferences. One was drafted in the second round where he belonged and the other people want to draft #1 overall.
