Greg Roman does not use a ZBS from what I've seen.  It's mostly trap.

I think this is one of the reasons that Gus moved on from Jedd (even though he danced around it during the press con). Bunch formations can be effective, but it does require a lot out of the quarterback because it shrinks the field a bit. One bad read and boom....pick 6. This is the only thing that I can get out of that whole press conference.

 

IMO, Gus was trying to tell us that while Jedd's philosophy works and can be effective, that it's not very QB/WR friendly...especially if those players are very young and inexperienced.
