Jedd Fisch Fired!

Quote:“You might have to find areas to simplify things so that you have the ability to play fast.”

This Gus quote in his presser about firing Fisch makes me think Fisch isn't great at running the up-tempo offense that Bortles seems to excel in. Might be wrong though.
The up tempo 2 min offese that BB5 did well in, had Blake at the line calling the plays. Not sure Fisch liked have Blake calling the plays and looking better then him at it. Just a theory.

“We’re right on par for where we thought we’d be at this point in time”. Yeah right dude. You really planned on being one game worse than your first year and firing your coordinator after two years. Plus being either last or second to last in every offensive category. You can sell that to the dumb zombie fans but the ones with a piece of sense can see through that crap.

I thought for sure they wouldn't change OC without having someone spectacular come in.  It'll be hard on Bortles but we'll see who get they.  This is only half of the solution.

Caldwell like Gus is full of [BLEEP]. Now I'm hearing a four year plan. HA!

Told you guys earlier we would get a surprise.

The dude just didn't have it.

Now we can get on with building a football team that has a real offense.

Great news.

There are very few things in life that are 100% sure, and coaching sure isn't one of them.

Who said "4 year plan"?  I didn't hear that anywhere.  I actually heard Caldwell talk about how guys who were rooks last year and this year are vets now.  Also talked about certain players using offseason to get better (mentioned Joeckle).

Quote:I think Gus hired fisch to run that mobile QB system like Wilson in Seatlle and Dave drafted drop back QB. It just didnt mesh. I think Fischs offense would work great in SF with mobile Kap.

lol, and back with Gabbert huh?

Whoever Brent is who used to work on tv around the Jaguars said on the radio this was always a four year plan by the organization. Said it as a matter of fact.

Quote:I agree with the bolded however I'm not sure how true that report is, being that this is the first time we've heard something like this all season.

I'm not sold at all on Trestman. Chicago just fired him and his offensive coordinator and kept the remaining staff on the team. That tells me they pinpointed their shortcomings on those two people this year.

Well, they just couldn't bring themselves to fire Jay Cutler, at least not yet.

Quote:Koetter took the Falcons from playoff contender to getting head coach fired. No thanks
Actually Dimitroff did that. That team reminds me of the Shack regime. Their 2012 was our 2007 team. Thought they wre close and sold out then fell apart the next year.

Anyway Koetter is a better OC than Trestmann, but I honestly want Edgar Bennett.
