Jedd Fisch Fired!
|
If we are going to get Trestman I understanding letting Fisch go because that truly would be an upgrade. I personally thing Trestman goes back to CFL as a head coach though.
Oklahomie with some of your comments, and please tell me if I am mistaken, you actually think Gabbert had any talent? IMO Bill Walsh could have coached him and gotten the same results. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote: Every player has a level. Under Koetter and Olsen Gabbert's level seemed to be low tier backup. Under Fisch his level of play was "get this guy out of the league as fast as possible." I want an OC that puts players in the best position to fulfill their ability. I'm not seeing that out of Fisch. Quote: He was a Gabbert believer till he got traded.

For Gus Bradley to let go of Jedd Fisch was monumental. Not monumental from a "shouldn't have been done" but more from a "had to be done" attitude but it kills me to do it. Bradley is NOT the kind of guy that takes loyalty lightly and because of this, I suspect it truly was as difficult decision he's ever made. But, it showed his ability to lead and make those tough decisions in order for the greater good. If anyone has had doubts as to Gus's committment to see this JAGS organization get to the next level (elite status) this action should put to rest any of those doubts. That said, the trigger just had to be pulled. Fisch's trick plays were always fun to watch but he became so "predictable" and also just could not find a way to make the necessary adjustments that "great coaches do"..........it was time for him to go. IT HAD TO HAPPEN. Now, I just hope they take their sweet time in picking a new OC. The LAST THING the team needs is to rush into picking a new one.
