Quote:Nice play by Williams, hurdles 2 players for the TD

Yeah that was insane. I'm definitely on the Maxx Williams bandwagon.

From rotoworld

<p style="background-color:transparent;">CBS Sports' Dane Brugler believes Minnesota redshirt sophomore TE Maxx Williams "is a blend of Jason witten and Kyle Rudolph."

"Maxx Williams' NFL comp is a blend of Jason Witten and Kyle Rudolph IMO. Why he has a good chance to crash the 1st round party," Brugler tweeted. On the year, Williams has 29 catches for 471 yards and seven touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Williams earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and was a finalist for the Mackey Award given to the nation's top tight end. It's possible that Williams could hear his name called in the back end of the first or in the second round.

Williams is a red sophomore, don't expect him to come in his rookie year and make an impact. I would rather a veteran TE that could come in right away and help out Bortles.

If Maxx Williams is there in Rd 2, then he is the pick hands down.

I'd be fine doing both. Let Williams play second fiddle to a veteran we bring in. Give him a couple years and we are set.

I would like to see him being used in 2 TE sets we could run.

He probably won't make it out of the 1st round, but hopefully he does.

We desperately need playmakers.

L Williams in the 1st and M Williams in the 2nd would be awesome

Bortles could use a TE like that no doubt.

3 Wide sets of Robinson, Hurns and Lee with Williams and Denard in a single back set would be pretty nice.

Only thing is the O-line would have to be solidified at both OT spots imo and maybe even center given Bowankos ups and downs.

1st round-Tackle

2nd round-Maxx Williams ?
