Am I crazy for thinking it'd be worth taking a shot? 

 

QB is the most important position in the NFL. Although I saw some good from Blake, I'm not exactly convinced he's the Franchise.

 

Now, I'm not exactly convinced Jameis will translate either, but you have to ask the question right?

He's going #1 to Tampa. If they pick Mariota over Jameis, that team deserves to be in football purgatory for the next 5 years.

Whichever team selects Winston will be picking another 1st round QB within 4-5 years. I expect him to take a RGIII-like path. Great his first year but his character issues will surface eventually and derail his career and team.

 

With that said, I hope im wrong and this kid turns his life/attitude around. Until then, Hes just another thug.

Because he's a college football player. He's not a Jaguars or NFL player. Winston is the most talented player at the amateur level and I think he'll have a Steve McNair like career. He's good! I'm glad we got Blake though

Yeah we need to take a QB in the first round every single year until one of them turns into Aaron Rodgers.  All the other positions are not important until you have a QB.  Better yet, let's trade up to the #1 spot every year to ensure we have first dibs since it doesn't matter who we take after.
