Who is Andrew Luck?
|
Quote:Phillip Rivers? Are you kidding? The guy that has 700 less throwing yards, same amount of INTs, and 7 less touchdown passes? Yes, I'm the homer. RW is hands down a better player than luck.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Luck is 11th in passer rating. Also if you extrapolated Ryan Fitzpatricks attempts to the same as Luck they would have very similar stats...
Quote:RW is hands down a better player than luck. LOL. Luck averages more passing attempts per game than Wilson has EVER ATTEMPTED IN ONE GAME. Wilson is incredibly lucky that he has one of the best defenses in the league to go along with a beast of a RB. (Btw, I like Wilson and think he's a good player, but if he were on this Colts team we'd probably finish around 8-8)
Take away Wilson's mobility. Can he carry a team and win from the pocket?
Quote:Take away Wilson's mobility. Can he carry a team and win from the pocket? his accuracy is ridiculous. if you extrapolated RW's stats to Luck's attempts, his numbers would trash lucks. RW has less to work with and has a higher YPA, higher completion %, better TD to INT ratio. He is a better player in almost every regard.

Wilson also has a pro bowl o-line. Colts' line is just as trash as us. Quote:Wilson also has a pro bowl o-line. Colts' line is just as trash as us. i agree its overall better, his ability to make plays also makes it better.

Quote:Wilson also has a pro bowl o-line. Colts' line is just as trash as us. You can't tell that guy that stuff, he thinks it's an even playing field ... and Luck has all the Defense, and Running game RW has. Somehow, some way, he will twist every scenario to benefit his hatred of Luck, and the Colts. Luck isn't elite, but he is just good enough to often carry an inferior roster. Not unlike Manning did for a lot of years in Indy. Hopefully (For Colts Fans Sake) Irsay will recognize the failure to give Luck a Defense that can stop the run, and an O-Line that can run the ball. With the current team around Luck right now? It would take a lightning strike of a post season to sniff the Lombardi. Luck IS NOT good enough to win a SB without the kind of help Wilson had on Defense, and Running game. The Broncos had a better receiving corp last season, as well as a better QB than the Colts will currently take into the playoffs. RW could have slept walked in that game. All he had to do was Not lose it for them. No pressure on him, so it was easy (easier, I should say) for Wilson to play as well as he did. But, all that being said ... The guy is everything a team could be proud of as being "their" fan. A Real Passionate Jaguars Fan (for sure) ... I "Can/Do" appreciate and respect that about lastonealive. No matter how often he has to bend reality to match his perception. Merry Christmas To All. Even you LOA. ![]()

If Luck was a Jaguar, we would not only love him, but proclaim him to be the greatest qb of all time. lol

Quote:no Huh? lastonealive has already proclaimed to me many times that Blake Bortles is/would be better than Luck by seasons end (boy was he wrong). It's scary to think what Jag fans would think with Luck as their QB!
Quote:Huh?There would be many complaining and demanding Mariota our team is that bad. I think Bortles can be better, don't think I ever said in his rookie season though. But maybe I was having a homer moment. You should understand that.. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:There would be many complaining and demanding Mariota our team is that bad. You certainly have a knack for bashing Luck in which I just can't agree with you at all. The fact that you said your homerism may have taken effect in your comments about Luck is a start as it seems to me that you're a decent poster besides the obvious disdain you have for Luck.
Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny.
Luck is the guy leading his team IN the AFCCG this Sunday.
That's who Luck currently is.

Quote:I know this is the equivalent to football sacrilege, but Rodgers is better than Favre. ![]() To be fair Brett Favre played twice as much as Aaron Rodgers has played so far but throwing for 71,838 yards compared to 28,578 is a big difference (If Rodgers kept the same pace it would be 50k something at the end of 20 years). Brett did turn the ball over more than Aaron and Aaron ran as much as Brett in half of the time. The defenses were allowed to rough up the passer more than they can now, especially the receivers. Brett Favre 3 time NFL MVP (AP), 11 time ProBowl appearances, XXXI SB Champ, 5 time NFC Player of the Year, and beloved in the hearts of all Packers fans did embrace Rodgers and over time he might surpass Farve as the better QB but I think its too early to declare him better at this point.

Russel Wilson better than luck? Ha! RW stinks to high heaven! He's RGIII but with higher media IQ
Quote:Russel Wilson better than luck? Ha! RW stinks to high heaven! He's RGIII but with higher media IQ Wow RW is in the SB for the second straight year... Yeah he's rly bad right? but that's to be expected of a poster like you
