We are supposed to blame some of it on playcalling, but not even close to all of it.

Fisch will have better success elsewhere, i mean look at the crap he had to work with his two years here.  I doubt any other coach wouldve done much better.

You got it right but the problem is, our youth will start maturing so the offense will likely be much improved.  Then you'll here all the "I told you so.  Fisch was the worst coach ever...bla bla bla".

Actually Jim Harbaugh coached against Jedd Fisch once so he knows some things about him you can't learn just by checking out jaguars.com videos and articles. Maybe Fisch is better suited for a college job and will be fine at Michigan.

 

 

You are correct that I'm not a University of Michigan fan.    I follow the U-M program more closely than most college programs but I don't have a favorite College Football team.    It's challenging enough for me to be objective when it comes to an NFL Draft crop, as it relates to the best interest of the Lions.   It would be much more difficult if I had a rooting interest in a college program.

 

Jedd Fisch had success on the college level and like you said could well be better suited to coach on the College Level.   Many coaches fit that profile and have gone on to have outstanding College coaching careers.

Just so you know, from what I've heard he wasn't fired for football reasons.  There were other things that happened internally with the organization.  If that hadn't happened, he would still be coaching and apparently making your life miserable.

Nick Saban and Steve Spurrier are perfect examples of that. They won national championships at SEC colleges and sucked in the NFL. A good topic for another thread would be why stuff like that happens.
