What does that have to do with the gator fans? All 8 of them who were tebow fanatics? Isn't that the number you came up with? Actually I think you said there was only 5 on this board during the 4 years this board was filled with tebow threads.

What's that have to do with it? Really? If you could somehow manage to take away the love of Tebow nation wide, and non gator fans backing of Tebow away, it would make a dramatic difference. I never doubted there were true Gator fans who pushed way top hard, but add in the rest and it became that much crazier.

 

The 8-10 or so people I have pointed out to were some fans who tried for weeks to put a rally together to show the Jags the massive support he'd get. It failed, miserably. It helps to back the points I make, but you fail to see it.

You definitely can, but Winston has the personality to really have people like him. Some of his decisions, and the rape accusation turns most away. I think his personality is great.

Not claiming JW to be perfect, because he's clearly not, by any means, and has his fair share of mistakes; having said that, the media has latched on to his popularity and used him as a whipping boy for clicks.  

 

A lot of the stuff they report either isn't true or is just a small portion/one-side of the story to create clicks on their website.  Most people reading the propaganda that they post that don't follow the situation closely have no clue and choose to view him as a moronic thug and dislike him.  Everyone that's ever actually spent time with him talks about how great and genuine of a person he is.

The lack of support of that rally which was advertised for weeks goes to show that there was a vocal minority who made things appear much worse then perceived.
