Jameis Winston declaring

Quote:Thanks for coming through. You clearly have failed to read many of my posts, although the ones you do read you seem to feel required to respond. Perhaps you stay only the light side of everything.Sadly I feel your pain with her lol. She reminds me of that evil female teacher in Harry Potter who would insult you with a smile on her face lol. Isn't that the number you came up with? Actually I think you said there was only 5 on this board during the 4 years this board was filled with tebow threads. What's that have to do with it? Really? If you could somehow manage to take away the love of Tebow nation wide, and non gator fans backing of Tebow away, it would make a dramatic difference. I never doubted there were true Gator fans who pushed way top hard, but add in the rest and it became that much crazier. The 8-10 or so people I have pointed out to were some fans who tried for weeks to put a rally together to show the Jags the massive support he'd get. It failed, miserably. It helps to back the points I make, but you fail to see it.

Quote:You could definitely say that. You definitely can, but Winston has the personality to really have people like him. Some of his decisions, and the rape accusation turns most away. I think his personality is great.

Pro Bowler-8% Starter- 28% Backup- 20% Bust- 44% 64%, must be all Gator fans...

Not claiming JW to be perfect, because he's clearly not, by any means, and has his fair share of mistakes; having said that, the media has latched on to his popularity and used him as a whipping boy for clicks. A lot of the stuff they report either isn't true or is just a small portion/one-side of the story to create clicks on their website. Most people reading the propaganda that they post that don't follow the situation closely have no clue and choose to view him as a moronic thug and dislike him. Everyone that's ever actually spent time with him talks about how great and genuine of a person he is. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Good to have you back. We needed another FSU fan boy to tell us how unfair Jameis has been treated by the media. Not many have called him a thug. Just an immature kid who can't keep himself from doing really really stupid things. I'm sure if I hung out with him he would come off as a good kid, and I think thats what he is...but good kids can also make mistakes. Giving him a pass for what he has done isn't the best way to turn him around, in fact, it's what is hurting him.
Quote:Good to have you back. We needed another FSU fan boy to tell us how unfair Jameis has been treated by the media. Not sure he's been given a pass, and I don't think people would be saying he was given one if the rape accusation wasn't lingering. I think the suspension for the meme imitation was probably more than most people would get, and he served his suspension and community service for the crab stuff. Read comments on any article posted about him, he's called a thug/idiot/etc. ALL of the time, I wasn't necessarily referring to this MB. And if you don't think he's been treated unfairly by the media, then I don't know what to tell you. Not that I'm surprised by how they treat him, they love building someone up and tearing them down, but the fact of the matter is that it is unfair and they play a huge role in developing peoples' opinions, sadly. On top of that, I'm sure there's some people who choose to dislike him just simply because they're sick of hearing about him, but that's still media driven. On the ESPN/CBS/FOX sites' comments sections you'd read the word "thug" about a thousand times. He made some bad decisions but that word does not apply to him at all. My inlaws were in town and they're Georgia fans. My mother-in-law decided to bring up the topic and said that Winston would be in jail or dealing drugs if it weren't for football. I just sat there and ignored her and changed the subject. Anyway, the articles and commentary regarding Winston by the media have pretty much destroyed his image. ![]() Quote:On the ESPN/CBS/FOX sites' comments sections you'd read the word "thug" about a thousand times. That's what happens when you have people who refuse to read the facts and only read the one-sided crap that ESPN, the NYT, Fox Sports, etc. put out. We show less advertisements to registered users. I think the guy is going to be an elite QB. Sure fire number one pick this year.
Quote:Thanks for coming through. You clearly have failed to read many of my posts, although the ones you do read you seem to feel required to respond. Perhaps you stay only the light side of everything. I was expecting another post oozing with your usual condescending attitude, and you didn't let me down. You are totally incapable of posting in any other way. I see this time you decided to throw in an unhealthy dose of your overinflated ego to boot. Every post you make?? Wow...just when I didnt think it was possible for you to get any more full of yourself, you go and prove me wrong!!
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

You've got all the facts so no argument here. And actually I'm pretty sure you stated about 5 posters did all the threads on this board. My guess is they were from the 8 total you sighted.

So every FSU fan seems pretty site hell be an amazing pro. Sounds like 2010 all over again.
Quote:No you are right, there was about 8 gator fans pushing tebow hard. You've got all the facts so no argument here. What is it you fail to see regarding that rally? I will just give the benefit of the doubt and just assume you're being ultra sarcastic. If not, you are lost. The lack of support of that rally which was advertised for weeks goes to show that there was a vocal minority who made things appear much worse then perceived. No, I didn't say that about the posters.

Lol, yes the rally is the end all be all when it comes to gator fans and tebowmania. What I see is you sighting a poor example and using that to justify your ludicrous argument, but like I said, you have all the facts. I'm pretty certain you said about 5 posters did the tebow threads. I can go back and try to find it. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Now tell me how all Gator fans were that way here?
Quote:Beyer be careful, Jameis is becoming idolized by some here. Jameis has fanatics on both sides of the fence in this thread and neither side can quit talking about him. Either their love for him is so vast that its creepy, or the hatred for him is so severe, that some people need psychological help.. Quote:Beyer be careful, Jameis is becoming idolized by some here. It'll never get to the tebow level. No where close. Never said all gator fans were that way. I know Trav was not and have said as much numerous times. Try to keep up. |
