Hi, Jaguars fans!     #1 ranked University Of Oregon Ducks and the #4 ranked Ohio State University Buckeyes play for the first NCAA Division One College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship Game Presented By American Telephone And Telegraph (AT&T) at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The College Football Playoff Championship game also concludes the five-month old college football season and bowl games.

 

Ohio State is 8-0 in the all-time meeting and series over Oregon, and the Buckeyes has also outscored the Ducks in those eight previous games with 190 points to 69. Both the Buckeyes and Ducks first met in the 1957 Rose Bowl, with Ohio State winning 10-7. Ohio State also won the recent meeting in the 2010 Rose Bowl by the score of 26-17 in the battle of 10-2 teams,

I voted, but someone needs to change Oregon's ranking to #2. Alabama was #1.

 

Unfortunately I don't see Ohio State winning this one. A drugged Duck being ruled ineligible for the game makes me less worried about losing though.

Both Mississippi State University and the Alabama Crimson Tide were ranked #1 during the College Football regular season in 2014.  But the NCAA committee ranked Oregon #1 only for the Top 4 teams that qualified for the College Football Championship (CFP) in the postseason.

Nope, in the final four Alabama was #1. That was why the Crimson Tide played agaainst the #4 Buckeyes and #2 played against  #3 Florida State. It was 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3, just like the NFL.

1. No turnovers

2. Sustained drives on offense that chews some clock and keeps Mariota off the field.

3. Convert TDs inside the red zone instead of settling for FGs as they did early in the Bama game.


If they fail to do these things,, it's likely to be a blowout.
