Was Oregon ever ranked number one this year?
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
I voted, but someone needs to change Oregon's ranking to #2. Alabama was #1.
Unfortunately I don't see Ohio State winning this one. A drugged Duck being ruled ineligible for the game makes me less worried about losing though.
Quote:Was Oregon ever ranked number one this year? Nope. I don't know what Amelia was thinking. Good thing you have the ability to edit polls.
Both Mississippi State University and the Alabama Crimson Tide were ranked #1 during the College Football regular season in 2014. But the NCAA committee ranked Oregon #1 only for the Top 4 teams that qualified for the College Football Championship (CFP) in the postseason.

That was why the Crimson Tide played agaainst the #4 Buckeyes and #2 played against #3 Florida State. It was 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3, just like the NFL.

If anyone can stop this Oregon team, it's definitely Urban. However, I don't think anyone is stopping this Oregon offense.
Oregon-48 Ohio State-30

I think your score is pretty close to my guess though. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Ohio State has a good chance if:
1. No turnovers 2. Sustained drives on offense that chews some clock and keeps Mariota off the field. 3. Convert TDs inside the red zone instead of settling for FGs as they did early in the Bama game. If they fail to do these things,, it's likely to be a blowout.
Quote:If Alabama lost, wouldn't that make Oregon #1? All I know is in the NFL, the Ravens were still #6 after they beat the Steelers.
Quote:Ohio State has a good chance if: Let me add another one: sack Mariota. Usually the team with the most sacks wins. |
