The Oregon HC is just not great his play designs on both sides of the ball are bad. Why not blitz on 3-10 instead of using your 2 3-4 type defensive ends to get pressure on the QB?

He does look like a much better NFL-type QB than Mariota. He's big, strong arm, good in the pocket, throws very well on the move, makes big plays with his legs.


Jones should be the starter next year.


Flip side::

Thsee past couple weeks have been the most I've seen Mariota play. He does not look like an NFL QB to me. Everything is read-option stuff. He doesn't look like a good pocket passer at all,, IMO.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I live in a huge Duck bandwagon area so I wouldnt mind seeing the Buckeyes pull out the win tonight, plus my wife's family is a buckeye family so she'd be happy to see them win.

He's not and I been trying to tell people that, some dude was saying we should dump Bortles and draft MM acting like he is some Luck type prospect, MM success is mostly of deceiving the defense which is why he's WRs are always wide open, he never stands in the pocket and makes a play, he has small hands 27 career fumbles, a weak arm and doesnt play traditional NFL style offense. MM is not good on 3rd downs and this year is completing under 50% of his passes in the redzone, when the field shrinks he cant trick the defense. He has a lot of work to make a franchise QB, the good thing is he is a good kid, smart and hard worker.
