He honestly just looked like a near carbon copy of Carlos Hyde to me, which is a really good player. I don't see Fred at all though...Zeke doesn't have that cutback ability or jaw dropping acceleration for his size.

I thought he seemed a little brain dead. Yeah he can run like a bull, but can he make it through an NFL interview? Urb's products will be highly scrutinized after the Aaron Hernandez ordeal.

Many NFL players can't make it through an interview. That means absolutely nothing if a team needs to pick a running back in next year's draft.

Same here, unless one of the top backs fall to the mid rounds and value is just too good to pass up, I dont see us getting a RB this year either

Everyone wanted Gordon but look what he did when he went up against an NFL caliber defense in Ohio St. 76yds on 26 carries and 0 TDs.  I think Elliot will be the best pro back out of all of them in this class.  Probably the best blocker and his style will translate great to the Pros IMO.   Gurley will be a stud if he gets back to 100 %.  I also really like Telvin Coleman.  I like Gordon, he has great speed but when he wont have the huge holes like he did in college and he goes up against a NFL defense its a big question mark.  He is so used to having the big holes to run through he might get a bit overwhelmed when he dont have the huge holes.

Melvin Gordon was not a Heisman Trophy finalist for nothing. He will be the first running back selected because Todd Gurley was suspended four games and tore his ACL. But when Ezekiel Elliott is eligible, he may be better than both of them.

Dempsey made a good point that I hadn't really considered, on how a premiere running back should be the last piece you add, considering the short shelf-life of the position. Makes sense.
