If Oregon didn't want them to score then stop them. I have no problem with it or what Urban has done. He has his issues but he's one of the best coaches and recruiters on the planet.

Interesting read?  Pretty gay if you ask me.  Like Scarecrow said, if Oregon didnt want them to score then stop them.  This is football, he isn't out there trying to make friends.  He is out there trying to put fear in the opponents hearts.  Letting them know who is the dominant team.  The offense's job is to put points on the board and if Oregon don't want it to happen then do something about it, stop them!

Did you read the rest of the article?  He points out many instances on why he is a lousy human being.

 

Scoring the extra points is pretty dumb in the grand scheme of what Meyer has done.  That touchdown isn't what makes him a bad person.

No, but its fun to point out hypocrites.  My wife is a Gator grad, so I do root for them.....I've also rooted more often for FSU to beat UF.  The last year is the exception.

 

I really turned on UF during the final Tebow year/draft year.  Their fans were obnoxious as could be and getting into discussions about Tebow was time consuming and annoying.

 

Some FSU fans are very similar to those fans right now.  I think it will calm down in the next year.   I'm looking forward to it.

I have no problem with what Meyer did.  This is just yet another example of a writer taking advantage of a situation and picking on the guys on top for clicks and to generate conversation.  That's basically all writers do these days; at this point I don't even click on most of their articles.

 

It's nice for the spotlight, attention, and hatred to be off of FSU though; even though it's the price you pay for being the best these days.

Well hall of famer, if you guessed that I wasn't a college fan of any specific team you would be right. Only a Jags fan. I like to see the paid professionals going at it.


Oh and theres no denying that there is a ton off butthurt gator fans that wish ill on Urban Meyer because he left their glorious swamp.
