It doesn't factor at all because it only factors the people who showed up at OUR stadium. Do your homework my friend because you should know this already because the London situation only factors in our bottom line revenue not people per game.

I thought he meant that our average attendance could have been even higher because we lost probably what would have been our highest attended game in Jax with Dallas. So makes sense if that game would have been in Jax that we could have been rated a notch or two higher.

Two big steps are expected this week. The Rams will provide notice to St. Louis that they're going year-to-year on their lease before Wednesday's deadline to do so. And they'll likely turn in to the city of Inglewood the 8,500 signatures necessary to set up a public vote, which will most likely take place in the spring, to re-zone the land where the stadium will be built. According to a source, the team already has the signatures in hand. <i><b>UPDATE:</b> The team informed the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission on Monday about its decision to change the lease to year-to-year. Also on Monday, per a source, 20,000-plus signatures were delivered to Inglewood in support of bringing the matter to a vote.</i>

I wonder if the Rams provided Vaseline to St Louis this year.  What a crock from silent stan on the whole matter.  There is a related article about the NHL Blues and being shut out from the Winter Classic and Stadium series because of the AB-Inbev presence and Coors sponsorship of that series.  Basically they outlined a new riverfront stadium still not seeing outdoor NHL hockey.

 

Honestly if my company is still paying corporate taxes to the city of STL, I would accelerate relocation for our remaining employees.  Having an empty stadium on the tax roles is not going to go over well.

If I was looking through the eyes of an owner, taking a moderately small market team to LA is a no brainer.  Similar to what the Nets owner is about to do....buy low, move to a different location and hype the team up, sell high. 

 

It can make the fans really mad, but its good business sense.  I would hate Shahid  if he did it, but I would understand it.

Exactly.  They simply don't have the resources or the desire to fund a new facility.  There are a few politicians paying lip service to the process, but it's not going to happen.

I am not so sure about selling out every home game. The Rams have to be making a lot of local fans mad enough to sell their season tickets. Many people are only fans because of where they live, not anything good the Rams did in the past.

 

Of course, some diehards who started rooting for the Rams when they were in Los Angeles will buy season tickets because they know it is probably the last year people in Missouri can go to games.

STL is a baseball town.  The cardinal fans would sacrifice the Rams to LA if they could win the World Series next year.  Heck they might even give them as a sacrifice to lift Lord Stanley's Cup.
