I think you should really consider finding yourself another team. It would be so less stressful on you. Maybe you could petition Baskin Robbins to start up a flag football team with you as the GM since you like to bring them up so much.

Maybe you are right and that same team could come to everbank and blow them out like the Jags normally are handled.  Gus would leave the Jags cause we know how much he loves ice cream.

The whole notion is that players are vastly more important than plays. Don't be so dramatic over the obvious.


The more important factor is his ability to teach fundamentals so execution of plays can occur.

The concept of players not plays means that coaching isn't important...  But if that's the case, teaching fundamentals would not be important, because--- You know, players not plays....

OK, there I said it.  Coaching is important, just as important as the talent.  And in some cases coaching is more important than the talent.  In other cases, coaching may be less important.  But teaching fundamentals is part of the whole "plays" angle of the "player not plays" arguement...

 

OK, I'm done.  Continue on bashing one another for how one feels about the hire of a coach.  :-)

Does anybody else find it hard to buy Dave and Gus's explanation for the hire? The organization that claims to be a champion of analytics is led by two men who said statistics and numbers had NOTHING TO DO WITH the Olson hire. What. The. Hell.
