Quote:I may sound sarcastic but I'm actually agreeing with you
I know Smile Was just pointing out I would be happy if the evidence comes out and they are punished for it. Until then Ill wait before handing out blame.

can you prove that? Perhaps they were defective aliens is also a possibility.

even if aliens did let air out, the Patriots are responsible for using the faulty equipment

Proof is such a silly concept. A better way to go about it is to use personal feeling.

much in the same way that you are guilty of supporting child labor/sweatshops ?

Quote:Agreed.  Especially when the balls are weighed and certified before the game, then locked up and kept under strict control for the duration of the game.

Could it happen?  Sure.  But it's just as likely that there was a ball with a faulty valve as it is that cheating was involved.

11 out of 12 balls had faulty valves. Interesting. Must be the Boston humidity.

That being said. The only balls that were deflated was the Colt Dline was run over by Blount.

The equipment wasn't faulty when it was first checked. So when or how did it get the way it was at halftime? Belichick let the air out himself? Ballboy? Brady? Ref didn't check them properly?

See how things can change so easily with so little evidence?

believe what you want.  you can forward your complaints to the league when the punishment is dealt

"The equipment wasn't faulty when it was first checked."

THAT'S THE POINT

Quote:Its amazing how if you want facts to back up an argument, you are suddenly a Patriot fan. For the 50th time, I dont give a crap about the Patriots and hope if evidence comes forth that the person(s) are punished.

The refs DID check the balls before the game, and they were all legal. The refs DID check the balls afterwards and they were 2psi short. So tell me how they got that way. Its a very simple question that everyone seems to have the answer to, but no one cares to share it. Thats all I want.

Tell me why it doesn't matter that in the middle of that time frame they were in New England's possession the whole time.

I'll "believe whats true". Crazy concept huh?

And I don't know whats "true" with the little(none) evidence that is currently available. Again, I don't care if they are punished severely or let off completely free, as long as the evidence supports either way. CRAZY WAY OF THINKING I KNOW.

We already know that they played with deflated balls and multiple teams have complained about it.  That's all you need to know, and it's all the league needs to hand out a punishment.  Again, cry some more about it.  :'(

You have no answer for the simple questions you keep skipping over. Again, get mad about it Smile

Quote:Because my analogy was pertaining SPECIFICALLY to "its the patriots footballs so they are responsible". Therefor my analogy was, "its your lawn so its your problem." Its not my fault if you cant follow the conversation.

The footballs were checked and were fine (so were the dogs in my analogy), they were then placed in the care of the patriots (the dogs were placed in the care of the kennel) and later after the patriots being responsible for the balls (and the kennel for the dogs) the balls (dogs) were underinflated (malnourished).  Tell me again how your analogy fits better?    Perhaps if you weren't trying to so hard to be an internet tough guy we could actually have a conversation....
