I pretty much agree with everything he's said in this thread.

LOL, good to know.

Alot of people didn't believe the world was round because there wasn't definitive proof of that either... But whatever...  Sticking one's head in the sand is always a way to go for a small group of...  skeptics...  In business they are called "late adopters"...

There was not enough evidence to convict OJ...  He was innocent too, right?  LOL

Quote:We know that 11 footballs don't magically lose air. 1 or 2, yeah you could make an argument. 11? What's more likely?

Quote:11 of the 12 footballs, not some. Colts reported this about New England back in November. We call this a pattern.

... and the only reason it wasn't 12 balls is because they needed one to kick. If anything, having all but 1 running on less air is more damning because it implies that the other 11 were intentionally deflated (all the fancy science aside).

The simple fact that the NFL is doing an investigation supports his argument.

Did they also test the clots footballs? I haven't read anywhere that they did, or what the results were.

I remember reading, that when the officials re-tested the balls, 12/12 were adequately inflated for the Colts. I don't remember if it was the first game between the two or this one.

Quote:How not? Once the balls are in the Patriots possession you can punish the organization.
This is not a criminal case, it's an administrative investigation.  This means you go by Preponderence of Evidence not Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.  It only takes 51% belief in the Pats are guilty for discipline to be administered.

Can  you elaborate how that supports his argument?

The investigation has already produced information.  The investigation has already provided facts.  Repeat, they have found facts and have distributed those facts via the media.

Facts that lead a reasonable person to realize that the patriots organization deflated footballs...  That is the information that his been provided to us from the "media".

Fact:  Balls deflated.  Fact:  Balls were not defective.  Fact:  Balls deflated after being in the patriots possession.  Fact:  clot's balls did not ever deflate.

Reasonable Analysis:  Someone in the patriots organization deflated footballs.

OJ Simpson Jury Analysis:  Anything could have happened to those footballs.  There's not enough evidence...

I prefer to use logic and reason.

Therefore, in conclusion---

Don't be an OJ Simpson Jury Member, get Direct-TV

You too feel that you aren't responsible for what is in your possession?

Not even that is needed.

Don't get mad at me, but this this is the standard that is used in administrative and civil investigations.
