I honestly am slow to the Walford party, but he does sound awfully enticing. My hunch is that we won't take him at 36, and then he won't be available when we pick again.

I was inquiring here about this guy last year when it was reported he may come out early. (can't seem to find the thread now)
I read an interesting article on him at the time that piqued my interest. No one seemed to have much opinion on him. I didn't either - I was just trying to identify potential TE candidates that may be there in the middle rounds, though it appears his stock may be rising beyond that now after staying at Miami for another year. CBS sports has him as their #2 TE prospect ahead of O'Leary at the moment. Quote:Big Hen? I thought he was from Tennessee? Seantrel Henderson Quote:I don't know if tbgh saw every college game they played. Nope, I've watched 5-7 UM games over the past two years. However if Linder, Henderson, Hurns, and Warford were playing like NFL starters I doubt UM would have had the record it did in 2013. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:Seantrel Henderson How can you be so ignorant? Using that logic, the Jaguars can't be 3-13 because they have Linder and Hurns.

Quote:Seantrel Henderson That may be an indictment on their coaching staff

Quote: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/playe...cal/415313 Explosive wasn't the exact word used, but a guy being able to turn a short catch into a big gainer sounds like an explosive player to me. Wow I have no idea how he played basketball. Right now he runs like a wounded giraffe and his explosiveness is right up there with jason witten. He needs to go.

That is why we need to pick a tight end early in the draft. Quote:I stand corrected. Wow I have no idea how he played basketball. Marcedes the prospect versus Marcedes the professional is one of the weird evolutions of a player I can think of. He was supposed to be a very good receiving tight end with questionable blocking skills and turned into the exact opposite.
In the right system he can be a 10 td catching probowler

Quote:In the right system he can be a 10 TD catching Pro Bowler. Is the right system in Jacksonville? Quote:How can you be so ignorant? Using that logic, the Jaguars can't be 3-13 because they have Linder and Hurns. Absolutely, if the Jaguars played a COLLEGE schedule. They went 9-4 playing an ACC schedule. Any COLLEGE team with that much NFL talent should get to 10 wins at least once during those players' careers. They haven't had a 10-win season since 2003. Three of the past four years they had 7 wins or fewer. They've underperformed. And let me just say that being accused of ignorance by you is special. |
